Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

My son is also special needs. He is in a wheel chair with cerebral palsy. Madison has some great doctors for kids. Hope you find your dream home but near the cities everything is more expensive.

Well, I am home trying to recover from my surgery, and i just fished my dog out of the neighbors pond! Luckily I am not that bad of shape from the operation and i was able to save him. Everyone around here is at work so i didn't have anyone to help. Super scary, but he is sleeping on his dog bed and has stopped shivering already.
Stupid mutt went over the fence with all the snow. He decided to chase the geese on the pond I guess. He loves to swim ...

It was such a nice day for a change, so why not go swimming ? LOL
I didn't know you were going in for surgery,
I must have missed that post..
I tried back dragging the snow a little.
bad results. it turned immediately into slush. then mixed with the mud.. now I have a muddy ridge all along the side of the driveway..

I probably didn't post about that - i have stage 1 breast cancer and they did a lumpectomy to remove the cancerous area. So far a very good prognosis - and no chemo. Keep you fingers crossed for clean checkups. My sister is 5 years cancer free, so i have high hopes.
Dog is still limping around and sleeping a lot - at 12 years old he should probably give up on chasing geese and swimming in frozen ponds...

glad you are holding your own with the cancer
two of my older (than me) sisters have gone through cancer treatment. they are in about 10 year cancer free, so your chances are good

Yup , the old dog is like us. his mind has not caught up with his body limitations..

We hatched this friendly boy March 13th. We aren’t allowed to have roosters so we need to find a new home for him before we get too attached. He’s half Americuana. He’s great at his job so far. I’m in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Let me know if anyone is interested or any suggestions on where (how) else I can find a home for him. Thanks!

He's a bit on the skinny side, but maybe I should take him,, he looks delicious..

That’d be quite a drive for this little guy, haha! Our last rooster was a delicious soup but we can’t keep them that long again.

for soup they can be any size..
I used to have a source for free Americana hatching eggs. but my friend died a couple of years ago, and there went my free eggs..
