what a day !! I need a nap..
I sold the incubator for $500.oo. Lots of extra trays .. over $140.oo worth of trays..
and just before that, I sold the puppy..
double relief.. heavy sigh.....

Busy here today, took out three trees lining the driveway..... so much nicer now!

I will gladly donate black walnuts to anyone who wants them..... I have 20+ in the yard.....

Has anyone created a chicken stock thread? I did not see one......

Nope, nothing yet bl4 on the chickenstock...are you up to typing one up? I still need to order a pizza cutter. I better get my butt in gear on that too. This snow storm we had really kept me busy for days...glad to see it melting.

Gorgeous day out. Had to modify the goat pen today. We have one little escape artist. We shall see if I have her contained or if she will out smart me again. My coop of silkies and frizzles are molting. My naked chicken from last year is starting to shed feathers faster than a nascar driver can drive, poor girl.

Yep, almost looks like a predator was in the coop when the hard molt is going on.
Prolly put up a turkey tent tomorrow for the wed hunt. They are so much fun to fool!

yep, nice day today. not quite short sleeve weather, though.
all I did outside was to epoxy the wheel back onto my drag around magnet..
I reinforced it from what the factory had.
I don't think that wheel will come off anytime soon..

almost tolerable around here now, without any birds, and down to just the two adult dogs.
no more puppies for me..

I will come to the chicken bash if I can get Annie to drive for me..

The snow is gone, so I guess it's time to get the snowblower off the skidsteer and use the bucket and power rake. Today he knocked down a bunch of spindly pine, oak and ash so he can plant grass seed. This was my pig pen for 2 years. They're really good at clearing the underbrush. It was pretty thick before.

We're still on the fence about selling the house. We're building my mom's new house this summer and remodeling the cabin. Having to build and move seems a little overwhelming. Actually, cleaning this place up enough to have showings is the worst part. I don't even like people I know coming by because is so messy.
