Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I use to raise pure bred dogs….I finally quit doing it because of the people, not because I didn't enjoy it personally...but folks want you to kiss their superior being, because they might have a few wanted dollars...put them in the freezer I say and enjoy them as well as gifts...screw the no shows...in my opinion....the last time I waited for the no show was the last straw

...praise the Lord!

Kee, welcome to the world of livestock trading.
and it doesn't stop there, just try selling any kind of item..
I estimate 85% of the people are jerks..
the worst ones are the ones who are interested and ask a ton of questions. make you jump through hoops , sending pictures, answering questions. this can go on for weeks, and then finally saying they will be there . and you never hear from them again.
and scammers, let me count the ways,,,,,,,,
I am interested in the product. often not even mentioning what the product is, item or animal. ever so eager to get a check to you in the mail. what they intend to do is say,
the bank made a mistake and made the check out for too much. so could you just go ahead and cash it and send the balance to me ? we trust you and know you are honest.
the check turns out to be a bouncer. you have sent them the balance already, but now the bank is holding you responsible for the bad check. so you are out the amount you sent them plus the whole amount for the check. oh yes, they often tell you to keep a small amount for your trouble..
I always put, "cash only" in my ads..

Finally picked up a screen, now maybe we can utilize this beautiful fireplace....

That is a beautiful fireplace! I love fireplaces.

Please make sure that the chimney has been inspected and is safe.

When we bought our place, the home inspector looked at our fireplace chimney and said it was in pretty good shape, but personally, he would not have a fire in it. The mortar was still there and it looked like it was all sealed, but it was starting to crumble because of age. It was obvious that the previous owner had fires in it. We chose to add a pellet insert and chimney liner. We love it! It also helps with the heating bills also.

strange things happen. I was answering a post on a site not byc and the post came up in a different forum on byc a few days ago.
we have a fireplace in our basement rec room.
I installed a pellet burner in it. but now haven't used it for a couple of years..
the rec room has become a catch all area. I know there is a piano back there in the corner that nobody has played in a decade ..

Well, dang...time to fire up the pellet burner and have the area toasty...I know the bators provided enough heat for most of the time...remember...just one more hatch...and then...well just one more hatch...and then she called and wondered if you could do one more hatch for her....oh ya, and then....well it's early spring, I suppose I should prolly just keep them going....and what the heck it was Spring with the lower lever toasty all winter....that's my story...and I'm sticking to it! :D

After getting kicked off and finally getting signed back in, I'm back!

We welcomed a new granddaughter in October, had an awesome vacation to several national parks in Utah inearly November via the Grand Circle Tour, and are now trying to clean and organize the house for the expected Thanksgiving crowd.

I love the fireplace photos! We have a fireplace that we need to do something with. I'll have to look into the pellet insert.

Great job on the scooter repairs Jim!

thanks, I still have to make it start easier.
every once in awhile I get kicked off , too.
sometimes because of what I post, sometimes it just happens..
anyway, welcome back..
the pellet insert is a good way to go.
a bit pricey, but you reclaim a lot more heat than an open fireplace..
