good day,
Home Depot did not have the string trimmer I wanted, in stock.
I ordered it online and will pick it up at the store
once again, I left HD hot under the collar .
they just have to break down and hire someone with people skills instead of the jerks I always seem to get stuck with..

Sorry you had to deal with a jerk at Home Depot, some of the guys there are really helpful, some just want their paycheck.
We bought a string trimmer at Home Depot - only to find out a couple months later that they don't stock a compatible line refill on their shelf...have to order it on-line.

New chicks seem to be doing good - I have to actually enter the stall and look into the brooder to make sure they are alive because they are so quiet. I may need to get some heat on them tonight though; heater is set up, just not turned on. They have been fine so far, running around doing chick things - eating , drinking, pooping, scratching shavings into the waterer. They are all sleeping together at night, not piled up at all - no peeping, no climbing to the center of the pile or anything like that. When the sun comes up, they wake up and start moving around.

I hear you on the shavings in the waterer. We always keep raising it up and up and up...LOL
Busy today running around buying stuff needed for the annual corn roast at Camp. It's always a good time and 10 doz is grilled for the event and always finds a way home with folks if any is leftover.

Wyo, count your blessings if you don't have to go to Home Depot. IMHO
a corn roast sounds like a good time.
as long as you have something to wash it down with..
I ordered a Cub Cadet 4cycle string trimmer on line today.
when I went to put it into my Shopping Cart, there were already four items in there. I didn't put any of it there. the address was somewhere in Milwaukee.. delivery date was like today or tomorrow. I deleted all of it.
then I called my credit card company to have them check on transactions to my card.
None of those items showed up, so I must have deleted them in time. I am going to still watch my invoices for awhile..
today I got a message from HD that they updated my address to my correct one.
they did not say what they updated from. I can only assume it was the Milwaukee one.
the credit card company did not have anything for Milwaukee..
It all seems to be straightened out now.
I am finally mellowed out and half way fit to live with again.

I know how stressed I get with ordering on line..I Just don't trust the system that is suppose to be secure.
Hope everyone is having a great day.

GET UP !!! Get out, we don't get many days like
this very often.
I think I am going to work on the cement mixer today. whenever it sets too long the rear bearing seizes. I am going to take it all apart and put lots of 3 in 1 oil on it.
I need it to re-do two window wells.

Me and my friend Scotty spent 4 hours this morning cutting and trimming and picking up fallen branches to make Camp look nice for the corn roast....amazing how that place looks so nice and my place is really rustic.
I have no problem with the looks here, but I suppose some folks would wonder why I don't work harder keeping the place pristine....wildlife loves it, from butterflies, dragonflies, and deer and turkey.....I truly think pretty is for the city and country should look like country..just me.

I dug the cement mixer out. it turned out that I did not have to tear the motor apart to oil it.
just tapped on the shaft with a small hammer and put some leverage on the cooling fan and it loosened up. then I sprayed chain and sprocket oil at the end of the shaft. hoping it will work into the bearing.
yeah, my place is getting more rustic each year. I found a poplar tree growing inside my lean to behind the garage.LOL
I will pull it out with the tractor before it pushes the roof up.
I have a huge bunch of raspberry bushes growing at one corner of the house. those will be getting jerked out soon. If anybody wants those raspberry plants, just come and get them.
