Yep, we received ours yesterday. No plans for spending either. Something in need will show it's face I'm sure.
Bagged a Tom yesterday....my daughter is still hunting, she is seeing birds, but just out of range so far.

Nice to hear that you grew another graduate! Are you half way complete on that project, or is this the final one? Congrats on the accomplishment. Did your daughter that use to hunt turkey give up the call or still pursue the wild ones?
I suppose I should quit with 2 questions, eh!

Oldest DD is still a hunting and fishing fanatic. That’s one young lady who will never starve; married a butcher who enjoys hunting and fishing as much as she does.

This is our last one to launch! It will be interesting when we no longer have any kids at the house...... less money spent on food, utilities, gas..... and the only person to talk to in the house will be the hubs..... hmmmmmmm

Baby ducks arrived today! I bought a mix of Ancona ducklings, in shades of black and white, chocolate and white, and silver and white.

What a beautiful afternoon after a windy day all day. I have the weber going with a indirect chicken cooking and a old fashioned in hand...life is good!

My daughter Angie bagged a nice Tom this morning! She hunting every morning this first season and finally called 2 Toms close enough for a shot. I better get going, and clean it while it is still warm.

today I made buttermilk pancakes from scratch. had some fried ham with them..
have to fix the door gasket on my wood burning stove in the shop. without it in place it burns fuel like there is no tomorrow.

FFF once again already....fresh ho-made slaw does not last long here....the cooker is fired for my frozen fries from garden reds, and ocean perch and swai for breaded fish.
Grandson dropped off some smoked turkey from the Jake he bagged....I must admit that it is really good!
