If you always pay for everything, because you have the money to do so.....you never create a credit score. Why would I care about the credit rating, if I never need any credit? You need to be in debt and continue to make payments to have a good score. If you never borrow money and don't have a credit card, you basically don't exist...… as far as credit is concerned. The most wealthy people that pay cash for everything, don't have a credit score that will get you credit. The reality of it is sad in a way. Why would I want a 0 percent credit card with no fees, when I can simply pay for things, without jumping through any hoops and having my financial information out there?
For example...if you had a Million in savings and paid cash for everything.....someone without any savings and 20,000 in debt that made their payments every month, would have a better credit rating.
