If you always pay for everything, because you have the money to do so.....you never create a credit score. Why would I care about the credit rating, if I never need any credit? You need to be in debt and continue to make payments to have a good score. If you never borrow money and don't have a credit card, you basically don't exist...… as far as credit is concerned. The most wealthy people that pay cash for everything, don't have a credit score that will get you credit. The reality of it is sad in a way. Why would I want a 0 percent credit card with no fees, when I can simply pay for things, without jumping through any hoops and having my financial information out there?

For example...if you had a Million in savings and paid cash for everything.....someone without any savings and 20,000 in debt that made their payments every month, would have a better credit rating. :(

It’s been super busy here! Let me say, I LOVE working from home!

Eggs hatched today: three made it, two pipped but died in the egg and two were not doing anything so I pulled the plug. Fingers crossed they are all girls!

Also I installed the bees today! Two hives this year. 😊

I have some grapes, blackberries and elderberries from Jungs delivered yesterday. They are soaking in water until I can get them planted tomorrow.

I need to break 4 broody hens tomorrow too.....

I have often said what you just said,
that should be a mandatory class in high school.
it could replace history class. IMHO, history is taught all wrong and it is selective in content..
I goes like, Columbus discovered America, and the next chapter it says that George Washington was our first president.. what happened between 1492 and 1776 ????? nothing ??

Yep, the education today has a lot to be desired.
Good to hear everything is good by you bl4. I can't believe it's been 21 days already. Musta been some tough membranes on a couple it sounds like.

Don’t get me started on how lousy the education system is in this country...... every kid graduating should take an exam to leave school; you fail you go back. The GED exam would be sufficient.

all three of my brothers boys and their wives are teachers in high schools.
the one who teaches shop is so frustrated.
99% of the kids have no clue how to read a ruler. and they don't want to learn.
they take shop because they figure it is an easy passing grade.. they sabotage the machinery.
the latest caper was the plasma cutter. Now it sits because the school board won't spring for any money to repair any of the tools.
their shop tools are state of the art and to die for,, and the kids j u s t d o n 't care.
did you hear that the casinos are now doing drive thru service.. You just pull up and stay in your car and they send somebody out to take your money..

Happy Easter TO All
That doesn't sound like a fair trade at the casino? Must be getting even for the unfair whiskey trades generations ago.

It's tough around here to find substitute teachers when teachers are off....nobody wants to deal with the kids. I know a couple different ones that won't teach at some schools because of the kids there..... sad for sure.

my nephew said that when they closed the school and announced that classes would be held virtual.
some of his students said that they weren't going to do it.. and they aren't..
I asked him , if you can't keep their attention face to face, how are you going to do it on computer ?? he said, I will just put it out there , it is up to them from then on..

When I went to school, Mr Peterson taught us how to budget, balance a check book and we were given the task of what our pretend job pays, if we are married or not, kids or not, pets or not, etc. We would then have to figure out wages (after taxes). Then we had to pick a house we wanted, car, etc that we wanted and then figure a budget. Daily we would get a "surprise" either good or bad, kinda like a flat tire, sick kid, win lottery, etc. It was quite the deal. Of course, most of us did not remember some of the lessons we learned in that class.
