After the cold blast temperature suppose to moderate. Into March madness and hopefully be the end of the below zero weather.

aaahh yes, March madness. the only time I
ever watch basketball on TV. I like to watch
the high schools play.
today's girls teams could beat the boy's team
from when I was in high school.
Feb. 25th , that is traditionally when the mean
temperature is supposed to begin to rise..

We got about 3 inches of sleet that froze, then we got about 1 inch of light snow. I spent 3 hours trying to get it off 2 driveways.

Higher sun angle now. Going to warm up and some sand will take care of that ice if you have ice left. Even some dirt, dark colored.
Been a bz season for my vacuum cleaner with the sand I had put down earlier this winter season.
Every 2 or 3 days vacuuming the entry way by the mud, storage room.

When I was out in WY, the neighbor told me to spread wood ash to help the snow melt better. It's dark and will absorb the heat from the sun, she says. So I tried it out on a snowbank on the sunny side of the house. Didn't make a dang bit of difference to melting that snowbank, just made dirty snow. Glad I didn't try it on the sidewalk like she told me to.

over 12 " of snow here from the last stormfall. Drifts up to about 3.5 feet fin from to my garage door. Good thing I work from home on Thursday and friday.
