Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I use the packaged gravy from the store for biscuits gravy. Then I season to taste. Yes bacon or sausage grease add flavor.

Making the gravy would not be much different than making a roux I would think. I make roux for clam chowder.

I do not make the biscuits either, but I could as I do bake and have made breads, cookies, pizza crust, etc.

I make thai curry every couple weeks, Spicy good.

Dang Tor, you and I should get together…. Thai, Indian, love it!

Still on vacay….

I don't know where lake Powel is.
I made biscuits and gravy this morning. It turned out
rather good. I used bacon. and the trick I just learned is
use plenty of black pepper.. not too much salt..
I never ate Indian food. We make stir fry,
orange chicken and curry. I love Panang Kai..
mildly hot..
today I discovered that I don't have to build a
new roll around base for my table saw.. the old base
with the two inch casters will work. just remove the two
inchers and screw on the three inchers.. will end up
with a 38 inch tall table top.. I can live with that..

Lake Powell is a man made lake in Utah/Arizona created by damming the Colorado River. It is north of Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon.

Apparently it is warmer in WI right now…. typically it should be in the 60’s here, but of course the weather is uncooperative.

I use alot of black pepper when I make gravy.
for biscuits.
Orange sauce is great also. I make it once in awhile and throw couple little dried hot peppers in it for some zing.
