I just caught up reading two pages of messages.
I didn't get notified that I had any.
glad to see so many people doing so many projects.
My lawn mower project is at a standstill. I ran into an
electrical glitch. micro switches. If I knew what each one
was supposed to be doing, it would help. cruising youtube
has not been helpful so far.
the mower is 21 years old. hard to find any info to help.

dumb question, try manufacturer website for schematic . My one lawn mower the safety switches seem to run in series then to solenoid. I had problem 3 years ago and found schematic and was messing with wires, just cleaning and checking. Went to start it again and started lol.
Could have even been the key switch.

Day one of coop build - base built and leveled, coop floorboard installed. Back up to Menards in Superior to buy fiberglass corrugated roofing for the coop and run roofs.

Tomorrow, walls and fencing installed. Hopefully, roof and nesting boxes as well.

Day two complete! Wall framing done, bear proof (we hope) hardware cloth installed under the coop, and about 2’ from the sides underground. Modified the design for one window facing south, and windows on both east and west sides.

Tomorrow, I’m painting the floor in white semi-gloss paint, cleaning the poop boards pre-install.

Hey all! Quick question, I have some three year old birds that are dying off one after another. Symptoms: comb flops over, turns purplish, low energy, feathers kinda droopy, then they eventually just die. I have no idea what I'm dealing with but I know the first one battled it for months, the second just died today and only had it for a week and a half. Now I have one walking around slow and isolating itself like the others did. Her comb is now flopped over too.
I've tried electrolytes & probiotics, a combo of garlic/oregano/thyme in food. I've cleaned out the coop and put in DE and wood ash. I've bleached all water sources. Any ideas?
They don't have any fluids coming out of their mouth. As far as the other end, it just looks like poop getting stuck on their feathers but it doesn't appear like it is runny.

Mine have had some poopy stuck to their feathers i clean them once a week they will be getting a little trim so that its not so easy for poop to build up. Im not sure about what the disease would be though. Its not Mareks though is it?
