Happy Thanksgiving Eve to everyone.... Been a busy day today getting ready for the big feast.
Baked one of the large hubbard squash today. It turned out great and tastes wonderful. Saved a huge bowl for tomorrow, used 2 cups for a pumpkin pie, and froze 10lbs for my son and his family.

Buck Creek, thanks for sharing....and you too fordmommy.

Off to the woods again in the morning. I'll be working up some real hunger by early afternoon.

I hope everyone's day turns out to be a special one with great memories and a ton of laughter.

Happy Thanksgiving all! Mmmmm The Cayuga duck jumped over the fence into the pekin duck pen and made babies smells really yummie! I always do my poultry roasting the day before the big event so its not holding up the show on the day of. I remember too many thanksgivings where we had Thinkgiving at 6pm when we planned to have it at 2pm because we forgot to turn on the Nesco...

We are having Chicken, Duck, and Turkey for our thanksgiving. Thank God for bounty!

Buck Creek, I shared that Thankful poem on my facebook. I really needed that. I have been down in the dumps a little lately. The website crashed, school hasn't been going so well, and I am not really enjoying being a Mr. Mom. So I really appreciated your encouragement through that post!

Tyler, are you at the tech in Appleton or are you in Oshkosh at the UW, or are you at UW- Fox? I work at Fox so come on over and pop in the Bio lab some time if you are there. It almost sounds like you made yourself a homemade Turducken!

I am at UW Oshkosh as a finance major if I continue. I have two full years left.

Keep at it Tyler; don't give up. I've been there myself and going to do it again if I have to. I am planning on applying for the Accelerated Nursing program they offer at Oshkosh and starting back to school next fall........

Sometimes I wish the Gov. would send you a paycheck for being self-sufficent.....

Sitting down for just a minute. Don't know if getting up is an option. Yet. Bustin behind and much more to break. I'm sorry that I don't connect with everyone. So what's your general area Nemo? I let the girls out a little early this AM after they realized they weren't being let out yesterday. Guilt!!!! 10/10 though. Got to see almost all the fam yesterday. Had a Thankgiving dinner that couldn't be beat! [Arlo] We all ate like americans. I loved it when they came out with the word dysfunctional, like it was something new. To me me it's just a another word for family. You can pick your various orifices but you can't pick your relatives. I love each and everyone of them for being individuals. Even the clueless ones. Good Evening....Another Thanksgiving has come and gone.... the food was great as usual.
Leftovers today...you'all know that's the best part of the holiday, eh?
Broke the woodslitter out today. Split enough to work up a thirst. Prolly split some more tomorrow. The long winter here requires a big pile.

The Amish neighbor lady stopped today looking for a hubbard squash. Yep, just happen to have one more to share....the smile was worth....(priceless)....

Glad the Pack beat the Lions on turkey day. Hope they can beat the ravens on their next big game.

Stay safe. Don't spend too much on Christmas presents. It's the thought that counts more than anything.
