And thanks!

I would meet you! I have already met a few people. I've met Bigzio, Babylady4, gandbcook, Dr Ha Ha. I think some people have met at shows, too. But it would be neat I think to plan a day to get together. I don't know who'd set it up or whatever. Well-for now, if you ever get up this way, let me know. We could work it out.

Fordmommy- I'm so sorry about your loss! If there is anything I can do to help let me know. You all were very supportative when I loss my dog and I'd like to help you in return.
Amyable- I have wind turbines in my neck of the woods(across the road). You do get use to them. I thought when they were building them I was going to hate them, but now that they are here, not so bad. They do make noise, very much like traffic noise a couple miles away. Very faint. Louder at times depending on which way they are facing. Louder in the winter without the leaf buffer. You can't really see the shadows from my house. If placed right in your community they shouldn't be seen. We take the horses right up to them when we ride and they don't seem to bother them. Actually today I can't hear them. All in all, they are going to help with energy, but it's also important to have a smart builder to lay them out. Good luck. Hope everyone comes to a happy decision.
Have a wonderful day everyone! Hope all are enjoying the great weather we are having!

Hi everyone, just found this forum and thought I'd say hi. We've found this website to be very interesting and great information.

Fordmommy sorry for your loss the other day, glad to hear that you found some new chickens-hope all goes well with them.

We are pretty new to raising chickens and enjoying every minute of it, we are planning on adding some Cuckoo Marans(3 pullets) and some Blue Andalusians-not sure how many females or males yet as they are for our daughter's 4-H project.

Hens and Roos! Amy's right. This bunch of people are some of the greatest I ever come across in my life. Thanks everyone!

Hey Dr Ha Ha. Where do you live in Nekoosa? We just got back from there. Dh bought a transfer case for a truck from there off prospect st I think it's called. From off craigslist. Then lunch at Mc D's. Thought about giving you and L a call.

They're still kinda squabling out there. No blood though.

Hope you all had a nice weekend. We did get to go out to dinner last night. DH took me and the kids out for my Bday tomorrow at the Pine Tree in New London. MY meal was free because my aunt who's the head cook there owes me for a sewing machine I sold her. And 2 of my cousins work there too. They bought me a Bday cheesecake.

YUMMMMMM! It was awesome! Nothing like King Crab and cheesecake.

This morning, my family gave me my present, cards, and an ice cream cake from DQ. Second best thing..... oreo ice cream cake for breakfast.

Good Evening.... Hens & Roos

I hope you enjoy your time here with us.

Suzie is jealious of you fordmommy, she loves crab legs. It seems funny that we are watching a series of the deadliest catch today. It's a Discovery series of the guys at sea catching crabs. Awesome show!

BCC, I'll keep those in mind. So many great breeds. So little extra space. The new 8x16 coop is on my spring list though.

Glad everyone is doing fine. Back to the deadliest catch.

We watch that show here a lot. Mike Rowe is commentarior of that. We also love Dirty Jobs and that Ghost one too. Big fans of Mike Rowe.

You should take Suzie there sometime. Kinda expencive. But they have the BEST crab and best steak there. DH does not like sea food. Will only eat fish. So more lobster and crab and shrimp for me.

Maybe next time you guys should come with.

Hens and Roos!

Fordmommy you are making me jealous. I have not been to the Pine Tree in ages, and some idiot Dr. thinks I am allergic to shellfish so I get to watch everyone else enjoy what I like to eat the most. Crab is one of my faves, but glad you could dig in and enjoy! And I hope your birthday went well!

I agree, we should have some kids of meet-and-greet. I think other states have them so why not us?

I really miss watching Mike Rowe.........
