Last couple of mornings we have been hearing a strange sound coming from one of the chicks-the Campine Rooster is starting to try and crow(I think its only a couple months old)

pretty funny listening to it. From what we have been told they start early!

Good morning! Got another sick chicken in the house...my EE roo that I wanted to separate this spring with his girls is poorly. I thought it was because the roos have been vying for places in the flock now that it's "spring" and he isnt much of a fighter...but he was on the floor of the coop looking all hunchie so I picked him up...Lordie is is crawling with lice!!! No wonder he feels so bad. So yesterday was chicken bath day and this morning I will powder him. He is eating and drinking so I am hoping he will make a full recovery. I think he has the start of a bumblefoot too...I am going to try the new fish med that someone was talking about. I hope I can get it easily! Gotta go to work---have a great day! Terri O (PS) oh yeah, my phone is working again! YEAH!

Isn't there a swap coming up in Beaver Dam this Sunday?

I've never been to it before, are any of you going? It's a good hour-and-a-half away from me, and I'm try to decide whether or not it's worth the trip.

Well, then I guess I'll have to make the trip.

I'll have to bring two little sisters with me though, I babysit them on the weekends.

I guess I'll have to buy them each a warm, fuzzy gift!
