Darn H&R--you took the words right out of my mouth! Oh well...I have my roos for Australorpes already! BBCB--I may be interested in the EE roo...my Mr. Red dows not seem to be "doing his job" as of late. I think his feet might still be bothering him?

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I got a whole bunch done scrap booking...all for DD18s books to be put out for perusal during her graduation party. It sure was nice to see my friend BFF--we have known each other since we were 4! When I got home at 4:30 I went straight out to see my girls...all are doing well but one nest of eggs wasnt picked up so I guess I will have to either set them or feed them back. I would hate to have a customer crack open a bad egg! I had a goat born (of course no one noticed) It was dead...story of my life when I go away! THe chicks are doing well in all locations and the house is a mess! Time to fix that next week I guess!

I really missed all you guys over the weekend. I couldnt believe the pages I had to read to catch up! Good Job! Dr H too bad you missed the nickel~! Good for you Laura!!! ( I always root for the woman!) I got a bunch of pics of the chickens in the mail and found out that my camera has been set for the lowest res for a while...the pictures are crap! I dont know how it got changed...I was ready to stop using the service that I use because they were so bad...now I know!

Well, I am going to bed--so tired from being up almost all night the whole weekend--definitely worth it though! Terri O

as long as we are talking roosters if anyone needs or wants any I will have a australope I think it's a roo and I know I got wyandottes in bbs or columbian or blr's in everything I just hatched out 27 blrw in the last week.

Anyone ever hatch Turkeys I tried 4 eggs this last batch and they all developed great only one hatched the others it seems couldn't get out of the shell. The beaks peeked out and then they died in the shell. I had the humidity at 60-70 the last three days but they must need something different?

Terri, really sorry to hear about another dead baby. I'm sure that if I went away, by family would do the same. Nothing!

No one would notice thie things that I normally do. They think fairies come when they are sleeping and at school ad at work and do all the things that i do. Cleaning, laundry, feeding the animals, feeding THEM! You get the picture.

Well-I got 3 babies this morning. And 6 more pips.

I was working on my quail cage this weekend too. I took a huge "dog igloo" (that I got from a nieghbor for free) and took hardware cloth and wired up the the front with a run for my quail. And yesterday I was cutting out a door and stablizing it. It's almost set for Peanut to use it. I gotta clean out the plastic shavings I created and add in some branches and things to make it feel homey for him. Then he can use it.

Fordmommy how are them blr chicks doing? Just wondering if any are the blue or splash coloring and how many roosters are there? Some of mine are splash that have been hatched and the others look kinda black but I am thinking the blue comes in with time. They are fairly young.

9 babies so far and 2 pips. 13 eggs to go total but some are not due until Thursday.

Today after work I went to look at a Yellow Naped parrot that I saw on Craig's list...OMG--I LOVED him! The woman wants too much--I offered her half. She said she would think about it. I have wanted one since I was twenty years old! I am so sad that I didnt get him now...I am home all alone tonight and I could be playing with him right now!

Oh well...if it is meant to be...actually I am amazed at my remarkable power to say "NO" today! Kind of a new thing for me!

So I got my front garden done last night and got it "Preened" today just before the rain! Yeah! I also got the grass seed out and fertilized in time. I still have much to do before I hit the hay but at least I got the stuff done that I needed to today! It is so nice when that happens!

Evening to all... Thanks for the tip fordmommy. I checked that option and got me thinkin about another company that builds and delivers them by wausau. I ordered one 10x16 with extra windows. What size door are you looking for? I have one 36" solid wood door ( heavy) with 3 square windows in it. I also have a solid oak door that was a closet door. I'd have to measure it might be 24". Let me know, I can check em out, they are in the shed.

The neighbors are logging their 40 next to where I hunt. I'm not seeing the turkeys that I normally do. Uh OH....might be in trouble trying to get er done?
