I'm going to be planting stuff today. I'd like to spend most of the day ooutside. Have a good one!

FM, you do know it is supposed to get down to 28 degrees tonight? I hope whatever you are planting will be tolerant of the temp drop.....

WHOO HOO!!!!!! I just had a kick butt phone interview for a company in Stevens Point!!!!! FULL TIME WORK!!!!

They are going to be contacting me to schedule a face-to-face interview for next week! I am so excited to actually, possibly, get a job that engages my brain!!!!!

Of course I am STILL waiting to hear from UW-Oshkosh about the accelerated RN program...... starting to think I will not be getting in since it is taking them SO LONG, but I know the cometition for spots is tough and the evaluation process is very long.....

Call duck eggs should arrive tomorrow! I hope the cold temps don't kill the buggers..... incubator is up and going so we are all set.

Now if my bathroom removation could run as smoothly.....

Missed mom's phone call this morning right after I left. She couldn't find my cell number. Drove over there to find out they were kicking the ol man out in the early afternoon. I was up at 4 worrying and then the drive over and by the time I made it back to Paca was too tired to call Paul fm. Came home in time to just about fall asleep in the chair and L came home. So doing the coffee fix now. Dad is doing much much better. I had talked to him Sat. and said it sounded like pneumonia of course I was wrong. But guess what I was right

Did get to spend time with them so it wasn't a total loss. Amy did my pm get through? I hate the way that works.

FM Wish I still had my fainting goats with hay at that price.

Babylady good luck with the interview.

What a beautiful day we did two landscape curbing jobs today. One job was hersey chocolate color and the bag of color blew up in my face and I looked like a CHOCLATE BAR all afternoon

everyone was giving it to me all afternoon. Now I look like I'm wearing mascara until it wears off!! Seen a mallard with 5 ducklings walking around in Depere today traffic was backed up. Fishing opens Saturday and I'm going to be here at home.

Sorry Cedar, but that is too funny!

Pick yourself up some eye makeup remover, ha!

DrH, yes the pm came through, thanks! I take it that feed is not available in stores. There is a feedmill in the next town, will have to inquire about mixing custom feeds. Glad to hear your dad is feeling better.

Babylady, got my fingers crossed for you too

Had to put another blanket on last night...mighty chilly! Course once I open the window I dont shut it again until fall...AAHHH--I have the day off! I felt that I needed a "bit of time" to myself for my mental health! So I will have a pot of coffee this morning while catching up on stuff and then go out and look for Stuart (the tortoise) some more after it warms up. I am starting to get frantic!

I was just down by the chicks that H&R hatched for me and the Anaconas and I have decided that I suck at picking out babies! 4 of the 5 Anaconas are roos!!! I thought I had 2 and 3 but the questionable one has removed the question! DARN! I really want a bunch of them they are so cool looking! Speaking of cool...I was perusing the breeds board last night and there are sure some nice looking birds on there! See what you mean about those SLW DrH! Mine arre nothing compared to those pictured! My GLW do look quite similar however...hmmmm.

Got to get the horse trailerr out of the barn today...I want to go to Palmyra fo the opening ride this Sunday. THen the next weekend we are going to Castle Rock to camp for Mothers' Day. I am meeting Annarie to pick up those cute ducks too! I can hardly wait...I have no ducklings hatched as yet and they are my faves...geese any day though! The three little ones have not become owl bait yet either! Maybe they moved on? I can only hope...

Well, need more coffee...I am starting to get a little revved up and I have MUCH to do today!!! So glad the sun is out--get out and enjoy it if you can! Have a good one--

Geez BCC I must be losing my touch. I tried to get a rise out of you about the ugly babies. Bet their fun to watch. TO your busy as always wish I had half your energy. KAQ sounds like some nice crates. I too will be a little sore. I raked and picked out the addition then tilled it again, will wait till it dries to do a final cleanout. I got 3 varieties of lettuce, spinach, carrots, and onion sets planted. Might put in another row of onions. Brownie helped me with the weeding again or so she thinks. Amy that was the first time I went to that mill and the guy asked if I wanted their blend. I was glad that it came with a certified analysis. The kids are out there rearranging my tilling job. I thought it was OK. Now if they'd just learn to carry the weeds to the edge and put it in a pile. This morning I broke down and ordered 8 SLW chicks all hens. We will have the same B'day, it'll be cool little hats for everyone. Probably should have just done it in the first place. Spent about the same on gas looking for them. Need to have some lunch.
