Now that's what I call a Poultry Paradise! MTF. Perhaps The Speckled Egg SPA! If you install a Jukebox you could call it Silkies Place. I think maybe the parrots are playing with Terri. Look we made her talk! Har Har Har! Silly humans. Congrats on the duckie fm! And good luck with the rest. You too BL4! BBCB sounds like both you and MTF have good neighbors. Too bad about the roo's but it's a common thing. I can't imagine having a better one. Today Brownie jumped up on top of the pine shavings bag and dug it out and laid her egg in it. He stayed right by her side the whole time. Think he's trying to woo her away from me. I was in and out of the coop quite a bit this morning. For the last 2 days I noticed Lefty just standing around in the yard lethargic by herself and looked bloated. Tried to catch her to no avail. She finally went in a nest and was there for a long time. She finally came out and there were 2 eggs in the nest. Not positive both were hers but suspect so. She's out and about now. Watched her eat and drink think she's fine. The weather seems to have affected the egg laying down to 7-8 the last couple of days. Some of the girls followed me into the garage this morning and heard the chicks for the first time, 5 of them walked around the brooder doing the Brr Brr Brr. The chicks quieted right down, it was fun to watch. Now they come in with me all the time. Haven't brought one out yet for a face to face. They did hear me calling them Babies and were just outside the overhead door talking back to me thinking my affections were for them.
Making bread in morning then out to clean the vehicles, long over due! Enjoy the beautiful weekend!
