Good morning! *JIM!* You made it back...congrats! (I hope it wasnt too hard to write your mea culpa!)

The guineas I got from you are doing fantastic! I was really looking forward to those blue chicks laying this year...not gonna happen. I have a very sassy JRT that just got the last one!

That dog is driving me wild. Might have to get some more of those...they sure were cute.
So SNOW hey? DH just got in from clearing the driveway with the skid loader (I thought it overkill) but at least now I can pull out easily when it is time to leave for work. Good, more time to type!

I really like your "chickenvision" and DrH beat me in saying the word for it was "console."

When we were first married DH and I found a big old console in the trash down the alley from my parents' place. It had wheels on the bottom so we pushed it down the alley and put it in our car; we had that TV for many years! The picture was only a little green but it worked good otherwise. Memories! (and it wasnt THAT long ago!)

Well, just a minute to say WELCOME to all the new folks dropping in! Glad to have you join us...nothing too profound going on here, but we sure are friendly and have fun! (and that's what counts) I do have one question about incubators...I have some button eggs in there with a turner...is there an easy way to tell when you need to refill the water chamber? I have one of those foam Hovabators and it is really hard to see.

HEY Jim welcome back! how'd that happen? As I knew, I'm the one taking care of them.

Wow- OK so I have not been on in a week and so much going on.
Congrats to all those babies.. we are thankfullu done here and in one shot with the twins. 2 four year olds are a handful enough here!
LOve the puppy pictures... if I can convince the kids to give our bunnies up, we might have a puppy later in the year. Cant handle chickens, bunnies and a pup with 2 kids... just too much for me. So if you know anyone looking for 2 girl bunnies, let me know. They are pretty girls- angora, rex mix- one long haired and one short. Just raised outdoors and not as friendly as we would have liked. Chickens are more friendly I think... at least 2 are.

Jason you were asking about the white rock- we have one in our mix, not our friendliest, but a good layer. With supplemental light for hour in am and pm, we are getting 3-5 out of 5 a day so pretty good. Getting 2 babies in march and cant wait for that.

WELCOME BACK JIM!!!!!!!! It is about time they let you back on here!!!!!!

I have Calls that I plan on breeding this year; TO said she would take the Grays off my hands so that will leave me with some Magpie/bibbed ducks. I have a pic posted a few pages back of the calls.

I'll put up a sign-up for hatching eggs/ducklings if anybody wants them! Not sure how well they will lay since they are not yet a year, but I do not need a ton of baby ducks running around the place! the 7 I have now are 4 too many!

All of you down South take care! I have been listening to the radio all morning and people are going in the ditch left and right on 41!!!!

I have pastel and blue fawn. I also have one ginger male that I may breed with a pastel hen. My white, nutmeg, gray and blue were all killed by a mink this fall. I'm not getting eggs yet. I would expect them in the next 6 weeks.
Cambria is about a 4 hour drive from here. I have a friend who goes to Madison quite often. If she can't find any call ducks elsewhere we could maybe arrange something when I get ducklings.​

Then I found you here....dang it's good to see you back. See Terri, I told you you're the Best! Jim you know Doc...Doc you know Jim...shared a table at last years bash...I know you remember now...

I have the couple inches cleaned up except the driveway. Waiting for the plow to come through first.
