here's what you do with that membrane.. get a good tweezers.
now pour a little brady into a glass.. every time you get the urge to help those eggs to hatch , take the tweezers and pinch yourself real hard, then drink a sip of the brandy..

So how does that method work for you?

With our hatches we usually end up doing everything we're not suppose to do!

HaHaHaHA!!!!! Jim you almost made me wet my pants!!! It is OK--I dont need the brandy and tweezer treatment! The little one poked it again while I was typing and has a tiny hole now. Good thing we have this forum to ask questions in....while we waste time typing the chicks do what they are supposed to do WITH NO HELP FROM US! Thanks for the laugh...I think my chili almost came up too! Yup--we had the same dinner! Terri O

I had a Ford 8n once.. My friends used to say that the 8N was good for taking drinking water out to the field for the men who had real tractors.. LOL

Listen to your hubby for once.. he is right.. with my 8n I could push snow into a big pile.. with my Oliver 55 I can now go right through those piles..

WOW!! What a day!! he Ready to go flop in the snow roll around and yell I GIVE UP!! Snow is still flying around all over here. Mike

Never Surrender!!!

Yuppers representing the Southern portion. Even though we don't have inches of snow on the ground it is still nasty out there!

Good thing they will be making a mess outside and not inside my house!

He's out!!!

I guess he was just waiting for me to go crazy. This was the first to pip at 9 this morning and it zipped and was out in an hour after he broke that membrane. Now he is chirping and noisy cheering the others on (and driving my JRY absolutely mad~! She keeps trying to get onto the table...soon to be put in her kennel for sleep...I sure hope they dont bark tonight hearing the chicks cheaping! DH will be so ticked...
Time to put the dogs out and get to bed for me...I wonder how many I will have by morning? (still not counting though...) Nighties! Terri O

Can't wait to see what will hatch.

Played with recon of a CT image of an orbital mass today. Amazing that this dog only had mild swelling along the side of his face. The tumor has eaten away his cheek bone and is destroying the ocular orbit and invading into his sinuses and brain case. He is, for all intents and purposes right now, normal at the moment, but there is not much that can be done to stop the mass and will likely cause problems when it puts pressure on his brain. Bad prognosis in the long term for the dog, but a very interesting CT image.

In this rendering, the blue is the skin surface showing the outline of the dog's head. The tube coming out of the teeth is the tracheal tube (he's anesthetized for the scan), the wires are going to a pulse oximetry probe on the tongue.
