Fantastic image!

Driving in yesterday was like driving on corncobs.... and you gotta LOVE the people who think they can do 60+ on that stuff!

The weather was most definitely worse here....... but I am happy it is over; one can only hope it was the last of the bad storms for the winter...... but of course we all know better.

Congratulations on all the hatches!!!!! I am hoping one of the calls goes broody so I do not have to mess with an incubator....... but right now they are just getting into the whole egg laying routine and not showing any signs of sitting.

Ok, back to face the madness of 41!!! You all have a good day today! Stay safe!

Good Morning All! Your right TO I'll try and behave myself but it won't be easy. ODrH amazing pic of the dog, certainly a long way from xrays. Sounds like your hatch is going well! dkvart1 hope you have a good flight and the house works out for you! WELCOME spotstealer! Always good to have more input on here! Good one Jim on TO's hatch! There are times a bigger tractor is nice to have but my lil Case really shines in the woods. I've heard that Bigz has a tractor but never hear much about it. Think he keeps it in the shed and waxes it every day. Poke poke!

Good frosty morning, all. (It's because I removed the heated water buckets this week, isn't it.)

2 black (split to lav), 5 lavenders out along with one peeping pip in the incubator right now.
One other lavender I had to cull, abdominal wall hernia (pretty bad one) - thank you temp spike, one that pipped and looks like it's gone.
10 more eggs to see what they'll do. Hoping for a few more, but happy with what I've got.

Long night last night, my little 2 year old was coughing so hard he was throwing up, which...thinking back...is really the only time he's brough up something more than once in enough volume to bother him. Poor little man, he was confused and not happy. He's sleeping in now with daddy and baby. Heading out to break ice and head to work. It's (my) Friday!

Here's another CT from yesterday, elbow dysplasia in one side, normal elbow and spine also visible in this bone reconstruction.

good morning all, sorry Brent, I forgot you had an 8N.. looks like I killed 2 birds with 1 stone, eh?

My eye aches today.. If it soesn't subside in a while, Suzie J., I am calling the pric--- whoops,, I mean; Dr..

no early pips yet.. OK

the sun is out.. there is too much snow for it to get muddy and nasty yet.. just wait for a few days..

I have to leave in a little while and deliver 10 doz eggs.. One man buys all I produce and gives/sells? them to his relatives..
I don't care which, as long as he keeps buying..

Hurley, the chicks are adorable! I sooooo can't wait to get some little ones of my own!

DrHaha I ONLY wish I was on that flight, we've never left our 8 yr old dog behind on a trip and he'd probably be broken hearted and totally confused if we boarded him, so I didn't go. Leaving it in the hands of my DH. As it's his DD's spring break she is flying up w/friend to meet him in Chicago. I'll just spend the next 24 hours pacing around and starting my packing (lord, how I hate moving!) until I hear how it went with inspection...

got a call from sandhill last night my 4h chicks are on the way

nice chicks Hurley. love lav

Do things come in threes??
Not going there... yet... grrr.
I went out to the car to get chicken food, (I keep it in the trunk to ensure it stays dry, the dogs don't get it and well it IS a 50 pound bag)...
The doors are frozen shut, so I get some warm water, pour it around the door frame and ya!! It opens... so I unlock the other doors and the near side rear passenger door
I unlock it, open it.. and now it won't shut.. the latch mechanism is frozen.. REALLY!? So now I have a blanket covering it, and used a great lubricant called Aero Croil into the latch hoping
it will unstick..
DH is home on Vacation, lucky man!!

Hurley- Love the chicks they are SOOOOOO cute!!!!
Stay warm out there folks!
Carol
