Don't bother washing mine I'll just spill beer on it anyway. I was reading these recent posts and a thought occured to me. People looking in disbelief at a whole lot of vehicles probably going slower than most coming from different directions loaded up with various animals and chicken feathers flying around it rollin down the interstate.

Long story short...we got a verizon mobile hot spot, last month, the "authorized" dealer is a franchise that was bought out by another franchise.. the young man
who got us our contract put the wrong phone number, wrong address, and seems to have pocketed the money we gave him for the activation fee and 1st month...
OH and didn't put me down as an authorized person.. I have ALL the paperwork.. and reciepts showing we paid.
SO now I have fax things and call people...
So my internet is via free wifi at Mcdonalds or a coffee shop.

Kristip lost Jewel the silkie to a coon, so she and her delightful twins came over and I gave them the brain dramaged one that Hurley gave me, and a not good quality white silkie pullet that I got for super cheap...
They got to see the mallard sitting on eggs, my bantam cochin sitting on eggs, and then to my house to meet the herd of dogs, my flock of parakeets, the evil siberian hamster and then my snakes and Tarantulas...

Just went out and checked my garden. Raddishes and pumpkins and corn are sprouting. I think I see some sunflower poking through, but not sure... didn't want to dig around too much and disturb things. Chickens are doing great today in their coop. The ventilation is wonderful and keeping them pretty cool.

These berries you are all talking about, you can eat them or they are actually for the birds? Hackberry, I think you called them. I have never heard of this before. I may go out today and walk along the bike trail and see if I can find me some blackberries and raspberries. That would be splendid!

Well need to get some more baking done for the grand opening of the dog shelter in Tomah this weekend. If you are all not busy on Sat or Sun and are close, you should come check them out. Chasing Daylight Animal Shelter. (cats and dogs!)

Good Fish Fry Friday All.... Doc I'm proud to hear that you're gonna enjoy fish on it's proper day! We have ours soakin in milk as I speak. Gonna have a few store bought onion rings with the frys tonight. Ho-made is better, but we are lazy today.

raimnel the rustic camping area has plenty of room for big tents. it's just behind the main lodge across the small spring fed creek. We have a nice bridge for crossing. it would be ok to bring the goats. They can't free range by the lodge....I'd be in big trouble if they ate the planted stuff...

Holy Cow for sure, or would it be Holy goat.

Camp has a dinner bell that needs to be rung from time to time when folks are busy at play. It brings in the hungry from the camping area on many occasions. Something about fresh air and hunger. I know first hand.

BUuurp !! I just polished off a giant root beer float.. I like to do that after being outside where it was hot..

I took the tractor down and retrieved the tiller.. I think I found a used one in Colby.. It is smaller than the one I have/had, but for just weeding, it should work even better..

down at the edge of the garden next to the road were a bunch of nondescript trees/brush.. I was going to wrap a chain around them and jerk them out of the ground with the bucket.. wouldn't you know it,, this morning the town came through with that giant weed whacker and cleaned out the ditches.. Now there is not enough to wrap a chain around and all the trunks are nothing but sharp spikes waiting to puncture my tractor tires..

DrH, you will have to remind me to tell you a story about name calling that happened between my daughter and me..It happened during a poker tournament at a casino..

I have the gramma watch again until tomorrow morning.. etter get back upstairs..

Greetings !!! Bet you thought I got lost in transit, eh? Nope, arrived all safe and sound eeeee

Movers surprised us and arrived a day early, had our scrambling like mad... they just delivered our belongings this past Tuesday, so now I'm busy trying to figure out where to put things and realizing I have more crap than I thought! Obviously didn't throw out as much as I thought!

Last week amid all the chaos of getting hughes net and phone installed I drove over to MI and picked up the deaf dog, who is currently being boarded, because the fence won't be in until the end of next week. It's a very nice kennel and he's being well socialized so he should be a lot calmer when he comes back to us.

I LOVE IT HERE!! The house is great, the surroundings beautiful... turkeys, deer and all sorts of critters (that will make gardening a real challenge) wandering through, I couldn't be any happier with our location (only thing that would make it perfect is more land). Have an absolutely great neighbor, who we adore. She's even found me a part time job (seasonal, won't be much this year, but will be great next summer).

Anyway... just wanted to check in, let you know we made it and are trying to get settled in and how happy I am to be here! Hope to have a little more time after the weekend to hop on. DH was asking me yesterday where the get together is and for the life of me I couldn't remember what town it was near...

could someone PM me the town?

Well after making a phone call or three and having to pay more than I wanted to, until they credit us the 85 dollars for last month that we paid...
I am back online at home.
So I will probably be up in the dells tomorrow going to an auction with my barn owner Joan. I am looking it up to see how long it would take to get there...
