Hey all, 41 at 6:30 tonight was bumper the bumper and traffic was going about 35 MPH.......


Is there any particular time we should show up on Saturday???? I am going to be working on the cake in the AM (it sucks that I can't get anything done on it while I am at work!

) so we might not make it there until after 12.......

I just managed to get the two batches of soap made. I have yet to make the same batch twice! I made Rose Soap and Coffee Soap tonight, I hope they turn out the way I want them to!

Ok, I need to hit the hay. Later all!

Just came in from wormin with DH. It's misting out and did pretty good. We aren't as fast as we used to be so they get a fair chance.

Hope to do some fishin soon. Have to get to bed and sleep fast.

I potted up a clump of ground cherries, anyone else besides Cind want them? Gotta get a bit of comfrey dug out too, maybe some primrose 'cause there's so much of it. I divvied up a bunch of seeds too, will bring them.

Nearly have 1 dozen norwegian jaerhon eggs saved, and would'nt ya know my broody left the nest tonight and is on the perch

If she is back to it on Sat I'll still bring eggs to trade. ANybody near Greenleaf got an incubator??

Any kind of ice cream, sans nuts, works for me.

I am working on a trifle for the Bash... from scratch mind you...made the custard today and that went well, the chiffon cake is yet to be determined. And please please less rain tomorrow so I can get some fresh strawberries.

Amy, all I have to say is I WISH I was making a trifle!!!! Fondant is a pain in the a$$!!!! (but yet I enjoy the challenge.....

good evening.. I am sort of planning on showing up around noon on Sat..

FTst.. that noise in your brakes was prolly the low pad indicator.. sounds like the wheels are falling off but it is harmless.. It is just a thin piece of metal inside the brake pad. when the brake pad wears down, the metal comes into contact with the drum and the metal to metal scraping is what you hear.. time for new pads..

I don't know how to say this, but my chickens, ducks, guineas and turkeys are all laying very well..

Does anybody want some guinea eggs to hatch or eat? I have about 3 dozen in the coop that we are not going to set or use..
the price is right .. free free free.. they will be white or lavender keets.

who was it that asked if a weekend was going to be enough time to talk?, that is why we mad it a weekend. last year it was only one day (half the day) and it was WAY to short! lol
