Bigfamily...yep, we have a annual bash with a white elephant gift party at the bash. Check out the chickenstock thread for more good information as the date gets closer. Mark your calender and meet us for a weekend of fun. We usually have a plant swap and some folks trade/ buy poultry from each other.

TO, that remids me to ask you if you signed up for the BYC banner?
We gonna do nametags again too?

Maybe get that wood splitter out tomorrow and get that split and stacked for next year. I have 3 face cords across the end of the garag i should toss in the basement too. Plenty to do....only need to get started, and then finish.

Yeah Sandi, Tessmer has Great Pyrinese.. but he told the neighbors that his two are spayed and old.. He does have a flock of sheep.. I didn't ask if he took female puppies .. It doesn't make sense to me to take mixed breed dogs and try to make money selling pups from them.. no my dog is not fixed.. she had pups in Oct.. those pups are the ones Tessmer got.

I do not get emails from byc.. all I get are notifications that someone posted on the cheeseheads.. I just click on the url and I am connected to that post in the cheeseheads.. I have a blue light indicator when I get an email..

Hi All,
I didn't see a time when they were shutting down so I'm slipping in now! Most of you probably won't see this 'till Wed!

Well it looks like it will be a good change.

BBP... Hope your chicky pulls through.... that happen to one of the guineas but she's OK. Personally, I would have put her in a separate cage so she didn't get picked on.

Well, when I went to feed and water guess who hunkered down in broody mode keeping Jasmine company in the next nest! Storkey! Jim, do those Thai Fowl brood? If so do they fallow through? She sure chattered when I picked her up and took the eggs!

Jasmine is getting used to it... but still chatters a bit... at least she doesn't try to bite anymore.

FT... I think a little roo might be OK but of course a hen would be better!

Also (to anyone) All the roos free range together now and most roost in the big coop. I would like to separate the ones I want to butcher and give the poor hens a break, Do you think I could put them in the small coop together? 3 about 10 months, 2 about 8 months, and 4 from Sept hatch? The coop is about 6 1/2 X 7. The run is about twice that.
