Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Just went thru all the pics I could find of Dom and Barred rock chicks...my little guy looks nothing like either....HMMM? My son tells me that chicks DO NOT NEED TOYS! He couldnt understand that a lone one needs something to cuddle up to~;) They couldnt believe me that when the dog went near the tank the chick stopped peeping. The DS23 sat near the tank and the chick was quiet...NOW I think they believe me! LOL!
Chickie is cuddling with his Beanie Robin right now....well, not now...it is up and hollering again! MLH...wanna part with those Am. game fowl chicks? I might have to bring a quail hen up to keep him company!

Her ad said lavender to lavender for 3 generations! There should be NO splits. I feel bad because he's been having health issues, but I am going to have to send her pcs. If you say their lav then that's what I expect.

I'm no expert on lavender chicks. Maybe they will feather out lavender???? I still don't know what the heck my cochins are. Got them on the egg swap and paid to get extras and she said they were lavenders to. When I emailed her about them she said she got rid of the pairs because they weren't throwing all lavenders.

I haven't gotten on any lavender threads to speak of to learn more. Have you?

And yes FT... Get going on the Lavenders... We got a club to get started!

I know I know, I will. It's just that I have no room at the Inn for chicks right now since I hatched out the silkies. Remember I'm way up Nort and they don't go outside as soon as all of yours do. Plus if DH doesn't get called back to work I don't need any more mouths to feed.

Just Sayin !!

I would take all of them... However my hubby might have other ideas!

I'd be afraid to have you guys over. You'd see an empty barn, a relatively empty pole shed, a grainary just being used to store stuff. We have a couple of empty silos and a perfectly good auger connected to it. I am having a premonition of chicken math clashing with goat math, sheep math, horse math, bunny math... :p
