Bl4, love the prom pics. They all look so sophisticated. So disappointing the weather couldn't have been better for them.
At least it sounds like they had a lot of fun. Oh, and before I forget
again, I would love to buy a few bars of your Ricola-smelling soap at the bash if you will have any available. Pretty please.
Terri, please tell yor DH that I'm very sorry to hear about your cat. That had to be terrible to come home to.
Glad you have new fuzzies!
Bigz, what's with the ugly nonsense? I think you're quite handsome. See girls?
That is how you get to be the bestest.
I was hoping Junior would have the pedal at the end. Not this time.
Bl4, don't worry too much. Today's cars have barely enough room to get a cramp in.
Amy, those duckie pics are so adorable! Redneck 2nd rinse.
Ken, you had all those trees cut down and you took them to the dump????? Oh, that is just wrong! That poor chick of yours looks wrong too, poor little thing. Brrrr and yeouch!!!!!
cs, my dust bath area has dirt, sand, wood ashes, DE & some 5% Sevin mixed in.
EL, I too would love to have a Guernsey or a Jersey, but a mini cow. They are so darn cute! We used to have someone on here last year that lived on a dairy farm who had jerseys, & had a neighbor who had one of their dairy barns burn down. No cows were injured, but they lost a lot of equipment. Who was that? I feel bad I can't remember. She used to be a regular. As for your smaller egg, it very well could be a pullet egg. I have never had such small eggs (like I'm getting now) ever, but I also never had a pullet lay at so young an age before either. My previous pullets started around 16 weeks +/- and had eggs about the size of your small one.
Twiz! Happy to have you join us. Hope you like it here & visit often.
Awwww, cute orp roos you got there, Bigfam! I wouldn't put too much faith in that feather sexing thing. I did that with those 3 I got from you, and my supposed roo has absolutely no signs of being a boy.
That black mystery one looks interesting. And I can't wait to see what the chocolate split will look like. Intriguing.
Mazo, so sorry to hear about your friend and your coworkers mom. That is terrible.
I can't believe I got caught up with all the posts. Whew! I spent the day doing laundry & working out by the chickens, trying to shuffle them around. I tried putting Moose back in with his ladies & his teen kids, but they keep pecking & pulling his feathers out, and the big dummy just stands there!
So I put him in with the rabbit & ousted the lavs to be out with everyone else full time. They spend the days out with everyone, but at night go back into "their" area. Well, they aren't very bright either because they rarely sleep on a roost, opting for the floor instead which is where they are right now. But NOT in the coop.
They are out in the carport laying in a pile on the ground by the fence, with Moose right on the other side. Tomorrow night, I guess I'll see if they want to sleep with the Mooster. Dumb clucks. At least they're all under a heat lamp.
Guess that's all. Sweet dreams, all!
