BUT, both mammas and remaining babies are doing well! Spoke with FordMommie today... she is really sorry she could not make it! Hard to get someplace without wheels!

So for everyone who missed the show stealers..... (Check out the nails MXM!)

Dahling your nails are so beeeyooooootiful! I've been wanting to do glitter like that myself! Lovely!

So sorry to hear about the last lil duckie. So glad about the fuzzyheads you have now.

My daughter presented your soap to me in the bathroom and I had to tell her it needed to cure a few weeks more! Little girl wasn't able to resist putting that out to use it already!

And I agree, once a year for madness such as this is not enough!
Just gorgeous flowers Tiki!

Bigzio, gosh darn it, somehow I still have your sunblock! I meant to leave it on the counter! Fail! Sorry for swiping that!

Goo Night all! So sad I can't drift off to sleep hearing you crazies caterwauling around a camp fire!

WOW--Finslly done with 71 posts! I can tell that the most talkative folk were at the bash...otherwise there would have been 171 to catch up on! We got everything cleaned up and put away this afternoon when we got home. THe girls did an OK job with the chores...at least nothing was dead! I hung the picture that "N" of RAIMNEL drew forme on my fridge right next to CLoe's. So nice to have original artwork again!

DH and I had a really great time again this year...Thanks to all who were able to stay and help with the clean up...it was very much appreciated! I hope everyone didnt get too sick of me harping all weekend! It's hard to let go of that roll!
My cats are begging--I guess I better get them fed before they starve to death!
Good night everyone! Terri O

(PS) Megan and I sure appreciated all the effort you guys went through to make GF stuff! It was really fun to be able to eat along with others withought having to worry!

Yes yes, TOO much fun at the Bash! So great so see the 'oldies' and meet more newbies. It sounds like I mighta missed out on some people that spent Fri nite; next year I'll just have to camp both nights, haahaa. Julie and her girls had a great time, and Cartman enjoyed himself too, really he did. Sorry he wouldn't cuddle you TO, maybe next year.

BL4, lucky me got to hold those little darlings all the way home. Julie brought them over for their first photo shoot this aft, get ready for this.....

Ok now THAT is the pic I need! Oh so cute! Thank you so much since I was not able to get a shot of them myself!!!! PLEASE post it on FB, I have people who would love to see it too...

BTW, anyone who would like to link up, on FB I am Mellie Mel Keebler.

WoW! Just got caught up!

vic... too bad about your friend... peace to her and those who love her.

WCc....What a day you had!

Ken...LOL!

The bash was great again! I did miss allot of time chatting due to the missing rain fly on my tent and had to improvise a tarp for it but still get some air!
hmm.png
Had a nice chat with Jim though and the camp fire people. Yea, missed allot of people but met some new ones! The White Elephant was a blast and I'm glad the Star Trek books wound up where someone would enjoy them! Tomski has to bring a bunch of those granite "Chicken Ranch" things!!! Whoever got it should post a pic. to make those who didn't make it even more jealous! The raffle was great too but TO has to practice shaking up the number cup better!

I sure hope more people can make it next year.... well worth the drive! (Just save "my" spot!

Rarely can you camp (or vacation) anywhere with kids, dogs, and free roaming poultry!!! Tommy was just the cutest, most well behaved little chicken I ever met! And you can add Green Tea to his beverage likes!
BigZ... hope I left the shower OK, I felt bad having to use it after it was cleaned

But yea, the heat packing up was hard on me.

Got home just as the storm got here! Grabbed a few things out of the car we needed and unpacked the rest after the storm. "Young Son" managed to keep everyone alive! Including the 2 in the sick room, all the chicks and his brother

!! He said he panicked when Jasmine decide to take the chicks for a walk into the big coop! She squeezed under the door and the chicks fallowed but all returned safely.... all 14! Went to close up tonight and it happen... the last 2 (out 3) of the "visiting" male guineas where on the roost! They were a little nervous when I closed the pop door but by morning when they realize they can go back out I'm sure they'll be fine. The first one that decided to stay has been coming to roost in MY coop for almost a week now. Guess I got 3 free guineas! hehehe.

Have a good rest of the week everyone!

Awe so very sorry vic about your friend :hugs

Some of my chickies did have vent gleet and I used powdered bluestone for them. It did seem to work.

Icelandics? BF4 I am jealous!  LOL A I got enough chickens though.

When my youngest son was about 1 1/2 years he got a lure stuck in his cheek at a picnic. Ugh! Emergency room trip there.

I hope everyone that's going to the bash has a good time!

My baby girl has been sick this week....the 8 month old..... 3 days now she's not felt well and last night she got a fever. Not bad, I could just tell she was warm. Well, tonight she was just over 103. I gave her a lukewarm bath and got her cooled off to 101 then got her to keep down some ibuprofen. She'd thrown up the tylenol I tried to give her a couple of hours before so maybe the ibuprofen will kick in and she'll get some sleep. This momma is tired!

Aside from that, I found potato plants coming up in the garden! How exciting is that!? And what I previously thought was a volunteer cucumber plant I'm now thinking is actually pumpkin. I found a second one this evening along with a couple of pumpkin seeds, then I remembered hubby throwing pumpkins up in the air and watching the explode in the garden last fall. Who knows how many we'll find out there!

That does not sound like any fun in the heat we had over the weekend! Hope all is well.

Watch out for potato bugs, I just cleaned a bucket load off already on mine!

I tried to read everyone's post of the bash, but really felt like I missed out, so I skimmed, skipped, and looked at pictures...

I lost my only EE yesterday, just found her flopped dead below the roost. No more blue eggs for me. I have Peking ducks hatching today for a friend of mine. Really didn't know if it was going to work out, the power got shut off to the incubator for an undetermined amount of time and I have been having troubles with hygrometer, but so far one is out and 1 is zipped and working on it and 4 or 5 have pipped...

We had a loooooong day in the garden Saturday, but remembered sunscreen. I cant wait to take some pictures of it in a month or two. It is by far the largest garden we have ever put in!
