looks like a break in the weather here, need some sunny days to compliment the deep soaking we got the last few days

lucked out on the severe storms here, just missed me

Jim take it easy on the cleanup, you have help coming and he'll be ****** if all the work is done

FT this is a very busy time for me, never know when I will be here and not at a couple of job sites I have going, I also help a friend make hay, we are starting that this week. Cage has been here a couple on months, not going anywhere.

Ok, I don't know why I even tried talking to this crazy woman again. I guess it it time to call the authorities. Now she said she (the sister) is going to be calling the authorities on me because I have to many animals on my land !!! LOL What a frickin nut case.
I have 80 acres. I don't think so !!!!!!
She accused me of being a rescue. I said if you want I can arrange a rescue to look at the horse. That's when she lost it again.

I only said that after she pressed way to many of my buttons !!!

They are frickin nuts. Even her voice mail answers like this "Knock Knock Knock" no one home.

OH and she lowered the price she wanted from $2000 to $1500 After I offered her $500. That was tops. B!tch !!! Now I'm afraid to report the horse cause I don't want the hassle of this woman but I may end up with it anyway. GD People !!!

Well I surpassed my 12 coon this year with another one this morning! This is not before they were able to rip 10 quail through the wire, so now I have it way up in the air and another row of wire around it giving it a 4" buffer between the two chicken wires. The last 4 are doing well, but now it is tough for me to get feed and water into them!

Not even close to some of the things you all got going on! Hang in there everyone!

My last poor me complaint, wow we need rain down here, I cant even get out and find night crawlers for my fishing trip to Minnesota in a week!

Do you have a dog? I haven't had anything but a hawk bother my birds and they're out running around my yard and woods all day. Also today I noticed that with 100 birds free ranging, theres no place in my yard without a chicken or duck.

You just can't reason with zombies. Sounds like they may have been having a "beer summit" with some of their buddies and one of them warned that you might be tied to the ASPCA or Green Peace or something and they could be in trouble. Don't give a thought to their threat about contacting the authorities about you. Do you really think that want to do anything that would put them any more on the cops radar??? Sounds like you have reached an impasse . You only have 2 choices left. Let it go or hand it over to the authorities. Too sad. The only one who is really at threat in this mess is the poor horse. Geesh, some people just don't deserve to be called human.

Yep! You guessed it! I got the chance to meet a very nice couple who raise tall birds and short horses! I went with DH up to M..something..just beyond the Dells. I've never seen that part of the state before. Anyway, I got a chance to snap some pics and ogle some cute mini horses and adorable emus.
I also meet one of their neighbors who has 9 chickens. I gave her out info here, so hopefully y'all will get a chance to meet this ubber nice lady....I feel bad because I can't remember her name! I suck at name remembering though.

Other then that, the rain missed us....

FT-That is too bad about that horse....I agree that the authorities might be the only ones to help. I'd talk to them about your concerns about retaliation too. I also agree with Vicki-more then likely they will not want the cops involved if they are druggies/drunks. That would probably backfire on them. Who knows, maybe they have warrants out for them and that is the excuse the cops are looking for. Love the pics of you donkeys. I signed the petition for you.

BBP-Sorry to hear about your car! Maybe if you tell the insurance company you'd rather total the car they will? It also will depend on the $ amount of the repairs vs. the amount the car is worth. Going in if they know you want to total it, and it is close, then they very well may total it. Wish I knew that years ago when my truck and I were the 5th car in a 6 car pile up on a freeway. Truck was worth about $15,000 and the damage was $14,500. They repaired it with all new parts except for the gate but that was ok. The truck has never been that same since. Saddest part was the accident happened that day before my tuck was 1 year old. I found out later that if I had said I wanted it totaled they would have totaled it. Instead I gave them the option depending on what they found in damages. Cost them less to fix then pay of the contract.

Good evening! It sure feels nice to be able to breathe tonight! We got about 16 drops of rain last night...sure need more! A pretty uneventful day here...the cooking went well and I even had three pieces of chicken left to bring home for dinner. Nice not to have to cook twice in one day for sure...

Terrible about the quail MJ! Now I am thinking I need to put mine in something with double walls too! The Bobs are in a rabbit cage sitting on it's own legs.

Sounds as if the geese are in the neighbor's alfalfa field...BRB!

I took my (mostly) useless BC out there after them. THey were already in our yard so she didnt have to do too much. No wrecks! She also wanted to continue to work and made sure I knew that there was a little chicken out of the fence. I brought her back inside.

Yes it is very nice out there...I just wish I wasnt so tired; I would go on a horseback ride...whatcha doin' next week MLH?

There were things I wanted to address...but as usual CRS! Frenchie--I dont think you need to worry about the authorities coming to your place...as long as you can show them that your animals are healthy, safe and being well cared for you have nothing to worry about! Besides, we can all vouch for you!
Report the people (with pictures) and be done with the situation! They earned it!

My Boss liked his ice cream so much he left it at work! Thanks a lot bossman...... he was really excited about eating it though so I know he really did forget about it when he left. Everyone at work could not believe I actually MADE ice cream.... like it is so hard to do.....

So I came home to my freshly washed blankets covered in cat barf..... thanks a lot...

so now I have to wait until my blankets dry before I go do bed.

So where near Mauston were the minis and the Emu's???

good eve, bro came out and we took the tree down.. had a large widowmaker hanging, was going to cut it loose, but decided that it would be safer to just cut the whole tree down.. tomorrow a couple of nephews are saying that they will come and clean up the branches.. I told them to bring all the bodies they could come up with.. my bum shoulder is hurtin' for certain tonight..

the insurance adjuster did not call yet..

Have about 40 guineas hatched and a few more pipped.. 2 goose eggs pipped also.. the peacock eggs are way overdue and will be tossed.. hope the peahen on the nest will hatch a few..
