Not much here today!

Since it was cooler today, the water from last nights watering did not evaporate out of the soil. Oh, by the way, when I was out weeding tonight, I noticed that the corn is coming up finally.

I harvested my first round of black raspberries and we had them over angel food cake with strawberries and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

DH watered the lawn today, we are still in need of rain here badly.

Day off tomorrow and I'm sleepin' in!

Well, we got rain this morning..... 1/100 of an inch!!! I can sneeze more than that!

With this lack of rain doesn't look like we'll get many berries this year.

The cooler/dryer weather sure was nice though.

Ok, head is getting foggy and I still have stuff to do.... night!

Hey all sorry I ain't been around I did catch up on the 346 posts, in a week LOL
My life has been a night mare the last week, the Witch, the kids, court, then the storms, and tree's down here, clean up, arggggggggggg I swear I haven't been able to catch a break until now and I should be sleeping........... it's 2:37 am.................
FF I wish I could figure out something to do, but I would call the Sheriff..........these ppl sound totally insane and at least if the Coppers are invoolved, and crazy witch tried anything, it's all on paper............ Good grief..... got so much to write, but no time to do so, will catch everyone up when I'm actually awake, Just wanted to say howdy and I'm still alive and surprisingly not in jail........... Yep... still up....let Ruddy out and when I went to let him in it was so nice out I went and stood on the deck.... Ruddy headed back to the house... preceded by the distinct odor of SKUNK!!!

Well, he was a good boy and did what he what he was suppose to do... keep the vermin away! Good boy Ruddy!

Sorry. Spent 10 hours over at the BFF's sawing and putting together one of those wooden swing set thingy's for his DD. Holy crap it was hot! We only made a few correctable mistakes. Got all the sections done, today we'll haul them into the backyard and put it together. All treated and heavier than **** ! Yesterday was all water today however might involve beer. Have to watch the weather would really like to go to the camper. Gonna be a mad rush if we do. Looked at the garden last night

Morning all!
Got the critter taken care of and man was it nice and cool outside!! The rabbits were practically doing back flips!! Maybe now that we have a cool down I'll get more then 1 or 2 eggs a day. Either that or someone is an egg eater. Although I have to say that the Girls have not been eating as much with the heat.


Jim- Madagascar? LOL! Isn't that an island off the coast of Africa? Or is that one of the water parks in the Dells? I wanted to say it was Marstown..but that was not it! BL4 got it right thought! Mauston! Mauston...Madagascar....same same.....

BL4-The GPS got us lost so we had to call the emu farm and she gave us directions...GPS's are so unapologetic... All I can remember is a lot of back roads...and then we saw her place! LOL

Cind-Oh boor Rudy....all skunk-like....I hear tomato sauce or juice is it? gets that skunk smell out. Maybe he needs to get sauced....

Ok I'm 70 posts behind. so I'll just pop in to say Hi for now. Not to much is going on, just been deep cleaning the house. We did have a couple low flying hawks over the yard , luckily no losses, everyone ran under the porch. Well I need to go deep clean the kids room. Apparently my mom was appaled I let the kids play in their room and drag all the toys out and I got lectured about organizing and how I need to keep my house in pristing shape for just in case someone stops by so I can impress them. Oh and she doesn't like the chickens running loose! Ugh I swear some people need to just mind their own dang buisiness. Plus I could give a rats ***** wether someone is "impressed" by my house. I have 3 kids, 4 neighbor kids always here, plus 3 step-kids ....my house will never be pristine. Ugh sorry for the rant I need to go clean.

Just tell her cleaning a house when the kids are little is like brushing your teeth while eating Oreos. SO DANG TRUE. I hate that mentality, that the house should always be super clean and you should kill yourself doing it.

What about being with your kids and making memories?? And who in Hades would be impressed with a pristine, kid-infested house? They would simply hate you for it!

Prayers and hugs to everyone in the northwest that got pounded by rain! The pics in the news are horrible!
