TerriO, with the distended tummy, I might just have figured out why your horse is limping..

I keep hearing noises from upstairs.. I wonder who/what is up there ??? better go see..

The noise upstairs is prolly Terri seeking revenge for that comment.

if the tissue doesn't get put back in, the tissue will start to die, infection could set in and the chicken might not recover to be productive.
Oh Lord, Judge I'm coming up there and we can figure out how to douse it with disinfectant and gingerly coax it back in together!

This is an actual sign you can buy to put on your incubator

BF4M- are you sure that he is not just an "active rooster" cant say I have seen it on my roosters but then again I cant pick mine up! But in spring turkey hunting there is always a spot on the toms where the feathers have been wore away, not usually that red though.

no wonder it is taking so long to pack when you keep your suitcases in da forest,,,gotta wonder where everything else is

Me and the 3 bears have a storage agreement in place. I won't tell Goldilocks where they live, and they'll keep me suitcases for free...;)

(I'm not saying I don't find some funky stuff in them when I pick the cases up though... :p)

I have a bird just like your black copper maran. Are you sure thats what it is? I got mine as a rescue. Same age now as your picture. Please let me know. Cant figure out if its a BCM or what?

Hi all!!

QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS-----Is anyone going to the Portage show this weekend? If so and "you" are taking birds, does anyone have a Production Red to bring along for the ride? DH is going as the Nutrena Feed guy and he has a photographer coming to the show Saturday to take pics of breeds for a poster or something. I was not paying to much attention until he got to the part where Midge has to go to get her pic taken. And. she looks horrible. I *think* I can find her paper work to get onto the grounds but I'm thinking it's be nice have a back up PR just in case. A free bag of scratch and a somewhat famous chicken will be your reward!
If you have question please PM me!

Thank You Thank You Thank You!

I'm planning on going to the show,,to pick up birds,,,,but no Reds here,,sry

Maybe I can meet the hubby though

good afternoon.. I did work on the wiring for awhile.. then my bro came and we sat and talked the day away..

I untaped all the wires and discarded the unattached ones.. the one attached to the ammeter was just a loop.. It ended up to be over 8 feet long.. then there were a couple of shorter ones ..

tomorrow I will go to F&F and get some spade ends ..

Adam,, I used the schematic from Mel.. I ran a jumper from #2 to BAT on the alternator..

then ran a wire from #1 on alternator to + on the coil. then I ran one on from the + on the coil to the switch..
I did that instead of running the wire from #1 to the switch and another one from + on the coil to the switch.. what do you think of that ??

I got the spedo/tach cable installed..

It wasn't too bad working outside .. I thought it was going to be cold, but it was comfortable..

We followed the India Blue peahen back to her nest.. she HAD 4 eggs .. Annie snatched them
right up and replaced them with chicken eggs.. there are now two chickens with 3 peacock eggs each in the coop..

I had a guy call me and ask if I could hatch some guinea eggs for him.. he just found the nest and doesn't know if the eggs are good or not.. I am guessing "not".
