FT..we are glad you are back. So sorry about Auntie... always tough. And I cant wait to see pics of your new pets... curious I tell you.

Heather hope your house of yuck is getting better.

we all have colds at our house and while I am not bad, I have a sinus headache today to beat the bandwagon and ds has been having nightmares so he is up the past 3 nights... so I woudl love to not be at work for a while today. Might have to put on a show when they get home so we can all snuggle on the couch and momma can close her eyes before she makes dinner.... might be one of those nights!

Good afternoon! I got home from work and had to take a NAP! Man, it felt good too. Hey Jim--the only way you can read back is on the same page in this forum. If you use your back button all is lost! You can open two windows or tabs (depending on what browser you use) and look back that way...then you can answer everything...if you want!

I cant wait for the state patrol story Frenchie--that might be interesting...whatever happened--I hope you got away without a ticket.
Vicky--I think that Noodle is a pullet! She looks kind of like a cornish cross to me but not as heavy. I am not familiar with "Black Stars" are they the black version to Comets or Prod. Reds? All of those red ones look pretty similar depending on which company they are from...I would think it would be the same with black sex-link.
I hope all of you with the sick kiddoes find them better in the morning! I hated when my kids were sick. They werent very often cause if they were sick enough to stay home from school they were sick enough to stay in bed all day! Sometimes that was a struggle to keep them in bed...Since they were good students I gave them the opportunity to take a "personal" day each semester. They occasionally did. We would go shopping then or maybe lay around the house! Fun times!

Doc, when I went into my back room last night to hit the sack there was something on the floor. I pushed it with my slipper and it was squishy. Got a piece of paper towel (thought it was dog doo) turned on the light and it was a vole! Very dead but no blood. No idea who caught it or where it came from. I didnt think they came into the house! SO I tossed it outside and went to bed.
So what are you guys making for supper? I am at a loss. Not hungry for anything and cant think of anything I want to make. HELP!?

Cant remember what else I wanted to say...nope--didnt open two tabs!

Afternoon folks, frenchtoast, I am sorry about your aunt. The insurance guy is coming today. I have my other chow Maxine in the basement( he didn't see her) my other chow Yoshi pictured has to be good. He generally is except he hates the neighbors dogs when they walk by, not all of them just 2 of them. I have quotes from 2 insurance agents for house, and 3 cars. My agent would be stupid to drop us, we have another driver coming in a year. but I will drop them so fast if they dare raise my rates.

I ran our during my lunch hour and picked up wood chips for the deep litter, it works so good and it really keeps the coop clean along with the poo trays i have under the roosts. I see it is raining again

stay dry everyone.

My brussels never get big enough to bother before it snows when I grow them here. Perhaps because we have no soil. Sand 80 feet down according to the well guy
