Let us know when Moe can go with Joe fo sho. Good thing it's running day don't think the back could take wood making today. Think I need a new back brace mine seems to have shrunk over the years. The velcro must be wore out too because it lets go when I bend over.

Didn't do the splitting yesterday because of the pain. So that's waiting. Think Bryan has Friday off. Hey Bry member me coming over and helping ya with those 3 deer? Buddy, pal. MXM glad you enjoyed England always have wanted to go back to Germany. I miss the food and of course the beer. Amber hope your hunt is a great one! Where are you going? BL4 I'm sure you'll find something to do.

Ya Jim don't fall off the roof, I know it's not a long fall but it'll hurt none the less. Trust me. That's all I can remember right now sorry!

morning

sort of sunny here- keeps going behind clouds- hopefully it will be nice- DH is working outside again today- last few days was windy here.

kids had fun T or T last night- between them we figure they ended up with around 15 lbs of candy

not sure what I will be working on today- plenty to do so I guess I best figure out what to start on first.

H&R... yes if we get a spaniel we would work with them young with the chickens. I have one friend whose spaniel snuggles the chickens and one who stalks them. We have a friend in town whose neighbors had britany spaniel puppies... they are pretty cute but probably out of my price range. I am not a fan of terriers either. I know someone mentioned them. Never met a terrier I loved... just me. Like them a little bigger...saw some cute lab mixes... still have to convince DH on this... we will see.

TorT was fun last night. We only made is about an hour and a half before everyone was cold and tired. Too much fun.
Back at work for today and then busy morning tomorrow and a quiet weekend. Cant wait! My chickens need some attention and time to bring in the plug in waterer for them.

Good luck if you end up getting one, ours is older (5 or 6 years) but gets very fixated on even the fish tank..... when we were hatching this past spring she was okay until she saw the movement in the incubator and then would stand and stare at them. For everyones sake, we took the chicks out to our work garage once they were dried and out of the incubator. Nice thing is that she is short and can't jump so high.

good AM< No fear of me falling off any roof.. I gave them up years ago,, I can reach to the ridge of the dog coop from the ground.. Darwin called this morning.. He will bring the brake and then pay me for it.. He wants to buy it.. I said OK as long as I can borrow it when I need it..

Cind, a Brittany is not the dog for around chickens.. Most of them are too hyper.. What you need is one of my pups next spring.. How much does it cost to "rescue" a dog ? I thought of that in the past for other animals, but I cannot agree to the strings attached..

anybody out there have a line on a cider press for sale or rent?

I brought home about 250 pounds of apples yesterday, and could go back and shake a tree or two for another 250.

I love Wisconsin. It is a place you can stop and ask to pick a few left over apples from someone's front yard tree and they say Take as much as you want, but the best tasting ones are one the trees in the back yard let me show you those as well.

I lived in Illinois(chicago)for 10 years and never met one person that understood the good feeling you get from being helpful to others. Only people that only thought of what is in it for ME.

Just a quick post...I got caught up is looking at pics from the Eastern states this morning...terrible destruction...and FIRES! That kind of surprised me with all that water.
Yes JJ that is the cool part about this state...and many others too...I'm done with what I'm using--have at it! It does give one a great feeling to share!
After our ride yesterday we stopped at H&R's too see their costumes and trick or treat...the kids graciously combed the corn field across the street so the horses could have some T&T too. The best costume was her DH...his hair was BIG! LOL!

Hello everyone,
Not much new here same old bad luck as usual, Now we wait again, no unemployment, no money, and no job, filling out apps again today, the interview went good, I think she has to review his stuff, I guess said she'd get back to him next week.. I seriously think someone is Black balling him ............. because the 2 worst students in his class, 1 who took out a light pole, and the one Adam had to teach to back up, along with everyone else in his class is working somewhere. 1 guy went to NDakota and is making 25 bucks an hour hauling water used to dig for oil.........
so out of 13 students in his graduating class he is the only one not yet working, and we need the stupid friken money more now than we ever did............ I'm so sick and tired of getting screwed by everything, I'm just sick............ blahhhhhhh I hate my life.............
So anyway life sucks as usual, glad you all are doing well, cute kittens cute cute............ especially the mustached kitten...
Jim any word on the Ollie? Hope your not wearing yourself ragged with that doggy house, this weekend is looking prety nasty to butcher chickens........ what ya think.........????

Evening To Everyone.....good to see you again Amy. We were hoping all is well with you.

Monthly meeting at Camp tonight. The last of the wood shed was piled tonight. It is completely full once again. By Spring the void will be huge like most wood sheds are. Tomorrow I'm going down there to drain all the water to the outside faucets and give the system a blast of air to make sure all the water is out.

Suzies Uncle had a bad car accident last night. Rolled over numerous times and wasen't found for a long time. Chopper ride to the hospital....he is in really bad shape...lost alot of blood...hope he can pull out of this alive. He is a good guy and needs more time here on Earth.

Went to snug up the chain on the new saw today...oops already lost one of the bolts for that purpose. The guy that sold me the saw laughed and said...you're not the first one that happened to.
I got em good and snug now. I'm in need of a new back brace to Doc. They sure serve their purpose though, even when they are worn out.

Deer are really chasing now...watch for deer folks....they are in love right now....remember that feeling?

No Tor T here either. Folks don't bother with the country folks here either.
