Joined the chicken hatch, it sounds like fun and the RIR are still laying eggs every day.
Butchered out a few 6 week old Cornish and a few Muscovys for the big day this morning
Started my Pumpkin Cheesecake and now I am taking a much needed coffee break, just hope I do not burn my crust.
All the hunting sounds like it is successful

3rd day of the hunt to all. Congrats to all of the straight shooters and good trackers. The patience did pay off and I bagged a dandy two and a half year old 8 pointer. That's the last part of my hunting goal for 2012. First was the long beard turkey, then the black bear followed with the eight pointer bow hunting, and finally the mature gun deer. Every moment was a blast in the woods. I'll help fill buck tags for the ones that want a little help. The does are allowed to walk by me.

I figure the value of the venzun is at least equal to the value of beef. If one cuts his own deer you prolly get 35lbs of burger worth 3.50 lb and prolly 35 lbs of steak and roast worth a minimum of $4 per lb...so the value of the meat in my eyes is prolly between $250 and $300 if you had to buy the meat. Jusy Sayin.

I've had some roo's that were really hard on the hens....actually killed some hens by standing on them to long, or cutting their sides open...I think at least two or three ended up in the freezer for being to rough. The hens don't need the abuse, even if they are chickens...in my opinion.

Yep, that sure was a ugly win Sunday. Coach said he has confidence in crosby....? Let's hope da bears lose tonight. i don't have cable and can't watch....wish I was close to you TO...we could watch it together at your house, eh!

Somebody gave those kittens a 5 hour energy drink!

I am so happy I have gotten my Thanksgiving shopping done. I am going to putz around the house tomorrow so I can get better. Colds suck.

OK--I cant remember anything I have read in the last half hour! Sheesh, trying to watch a movie (complicated) and type/read/remember...right...not happening! HAH!

Delisha--can you please tell your pumpkin cheesecake recipe? That is what i am supposed to be making to being along for the people! P L E A S E ? Especially if you have tried it and it is a good one? TIA. Dont want to do an experiment for the DAY!

I checked out the kitty cam and there is infor for adopting and other stuff....not like it was before.

OK I am finishing this movie and locking up...tomorrow is TUESDAY!

I did not burn the crust for the pumpkin cheesecake. I have such a hard time making Irish shortbread crust that is crispy and not burnt. Today I used a timer..probably should use it a bit more often.
The kitties are awake if you rewind the tape.
 
I hope the sickos feel better soon!

Lots to say, but then again not going too. Tired and just don't feel like typing.

Going on a field trip tomorrow to the Capitol and the a znative American exhibit.
