Morning everyone.....
Same old same old here this AM, Congrats, BigZ.....nice to see at least some of my fellow hunters are filling the freezer, had a friend of Adams stop here yesterday wondering where the public grounds are out here, there is 5 total, but he needed to be in the Waupaca cty side, he has a rifle........ so sent him up the road from us where we usually go, he didn't bring me any tenderloins so thinking he didn't see anything over there either, like us last year. 2 many hunters not enough deer out here. It's only a 110 acre parcel, and at any given time there is usually 100 hunters in there. The majority being the Hmong guys from the Appleton area, who shoot everything and anything when they are out. Funny opening mornings because there's 8 or 9 guys to a car....lucky they are smaller in size hehehe.
Well some more not so good news from Adam they are rolling back from a trip to Maine, back to PA, Chucks home state, and Chuck is going home for the holiday, the load they have on don't need to be delivered until the 28th, so Adam will be stuck in a hotel room again for 4 days or more, he could come home but would have to pay for his own bus ticket there and back, and loose 4 days pay....... least to say he is not happy about the situation, and neither am I........but even if we could afford it for him to bus home its 2 days travel time, plus no money and right now we need the money.............. so what do ya do, suck it up and b--itchhhh and complain, but that is all ya can do.......... He sounded pretty depressed last night when he called at 1 am, and I tried but could not cheer him up........He had just crawled into the bunk and Chuck was driving, he is having a hard time sleeping too as in the truck is moving and I think he is just now getting used to that creepy moving feeling while drifting off to dream land. I hope he got some sleep. Maybe the 4 days will be a blessing at least he can sleep in a real bed, and actually sleep............ I miss him so very much, I wish he could come home.
