Jim, the tractor looks great, Terri O lol I need more, I think you need less.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone

Jim, it looks like you have a beer tucked in that first pic. Great looking doghouse! I bet Annie sends you out there a lot.

Yes CC Dr. Inglese. Italian and a great guy. Put up with my ADHD kid just fine, and her obnoxious mother.

Made some unflavored gelatin tonight... DD#2 comes in and asks " What are you making, ballistics gel?"..... yup a house full of Mythbuster junkies.

I better get going. I still have to pop in over at my moms (brother and fam is there) and I have to make my pie crust for tomorrow (I should say Dr. H's pie crust). Door county cherries that you are all so fond of in vodka will be the start of the pies.

evening all,
Jim ......Bout time them pictures went up....... Ok now I get it .that mansion is for Jim when Annie is mad.....LOL I think he should have made it a bit bigger then he has to have room for the pup too.........:lau
Anyway been cleaning today again cleaned the whole barn....... tomorrow doing the puppy pen, and getting ready for the cold coming in .........I have to try to fill all those puppy holes before the ground freezes solid and I can't carry loose sand in a bucket, no tractor here to do it for me so I guess I will work till my hands give out again........ my helper isn't here and my DS18 is as lazy as his father, my x which is unbelievably lazy........ he whined today cuz I made him go out and spread the shitte spreader full in the field......waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh he did it but argued with me till I had to holler if he didn't like it he could pack.......the door was open and don't it let it hit ya in the arse on the way out.......gggrrrrrrrrrr so aggravating is that little know it all, I finally get the old saying that apple didn't fall far from the tree.......... and it sure didn't......... I feel sorry for our future generation, because a lot of em are like him no work ethic, lazy........ want a pay check for sitting on there big Arse........and they know everything......Good grief I can't wait until he finds a job and moves out..........he has a very rude awakening coming because he seems to think life is easy cheesy and he'll be rollin in the dough as soon as he gets a job, he don;t realize he actually has to show up too work to get paid, and that the bill collectors will be at his dorr the day b4 payday to collect, the rent, the phone, the elctric, heat....ect.... just wait, this boy sure does need a I told you so, and YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO WHAT I SAID....
Anyway Adams mom called tonight, to say happy turkey day, she was surprised I said we ain't having TG cuz I refuse to cook it if my hubby ain't here....so guess I;m eaten yogurt again tomorrow......
Had a nice long talk with her though, nice to know at least she knows how I feel, her hubby was a trucker, that's where Adam learned about it and wanted to be like his dad.....so I feel a bit better, but still missing him like crazy......... especially at night when I'm alone, and I already did everything I could think of during the day to keep busy, so nights are seriously long..........

WOW . TerriO how many chickens do ya have?? 3 dozen a day, I have 30 hens and they lay me 18 or so a day you must have a 100...........LOL I think ya need to send David a few Xmas presents...... hehehe

So anyway all have great Turkey day.............

Oh Ghost... Terri's got a couple hundred birds between chickens, guineas, ducks, geese, pigeons... Umm I think that's it for birds OUTSIDE. Don't forget the birds inside! And then there's her goats (what? A half dozen?) and the horses... You got any Llamas or Alpacas yet Terri? :D I think she needs an emu, or two...

Doggie still alive at this point, actually was sitting up a little today, though is still battling at this point. Think positive thoughts for him.

Hoping everyone has the most wonderful of Thanksgiving days, there is so much to be thankful for.

Thank you for my boys, my wonderful hubby, and my life. It really is a wonderful one.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. (in 22 minutes)

this is the 2 ft by 4 ft brooder I built with a heating ring I snatched out of an old hexagon brooder.

It is sitting on the garden cart I built last year..

I can control the light or the heat element with separate switches.. the extra light bulb is just the indicator light which goes on when the heating element is on..

I can start 100 chicks easily under this brooder.. by the time they grow too big to fit under it, they sit on top of it to keep warm if they need it.. by that time they are fairly well feathered out and do not need much heat..

for a good close-up look at the wiring , just click on the picture..

Hi All!

Wow... today flew by like crazy!!! I worked and worked and doesn’t look like I got anything done! :barnie

Jim... No windows and shutters? Isn't it going to be pretty dark in there for you? Or do you just plan on sleeping when Annie puts you out there? :p

I read a bunch of posts earlier but I'm too tired to go back and look. :/ Sorry 'bout that.

Well, still a few things to do before bed so....

Happy Thanksgiving!
