We are in our second year trying to raise pheasants. I bet our success rate would have been a lot better had I found and read through this forum before. This year we lost probably 1/2 of our pheasants so that we now have about 200. That is such an extreme loss but hubby had to go all out while we were becoming first time parents which spelled disaster! This year, I bet the birds got sick when he put 15 baby turkeys in the same house (though seperate pens). Looking back I wonder if we could have saved them using correct antibiotics or not? Any ideas. Or does anyone know what antibiotics to use for probable diseases. Or a nice website that lists bird antibiotics and the spectrum of diseases it helps rid. That would be so useful...

Are you sure they died from a disease?Ringnecks are cannibals and will keep picking on a bird until it is dead. Then they will find another and then another. What else do you raise? It is possible that your boots carried something in also.Pheasants are touchy and need to be by themselves no wheres near any other poultry.
Duramycin is a good antibiotic, and should be available and you should have some in your med cabinet for times when you need it.
What type of feed are you feeding? They should be on a gamebird pellet, they really don't need any corn at this time of year. There are many more questions about raising pheasants,so don't be shy, ask!
