Which drake did you keep? Just curious
I still have both. I haven’t had any interest in them or my two Pekin hens.

Which drake did you keep? Just curious
We once had a bachelor group and they would hang out everywhere together. They would eat together, go to the pond together, and walk around all together. They were Black Swedish, Muscovy, Buff Orpington Duck, and RunnerIs it possible for Drakes to bond substantially? To the point where they may not fight during breeding season? My drakes never leave one another’s side. Do you have heartwarming stories about Drake buddies? I want to hear them.
I have roosters like that. When they were young they would fight some over girls. But now that they are over 2 years old they don't fight over the hens they just gang bang them. Once one gets a hen to squat, here come 8 or 9 more and pile on. It looks like hard core chicken porn. A couple on her back, one in front trying to go at it, one going at each wing. And when one finishes his business and rolls off, another jumps on and takes his place. Chickens are crazy! My three Pekin drakes are absolutely best friends. They are inseparable in the yard. They’re such great friends that all three love to gang rape the same female at the same time. They don’t really fight each other, but they do chase every single bird in the yard (male or female, duck or goose) like a gang. Then all three will bite the head of the same bird.....and you get it. That’s why they’re currently in drake jail most of the day.
