Yeah! Samhain and el Dia de los Muertos is really similair,
It's all about dead ancestors and your roots, helgonasdag is basically the samhain/dia de los muertos of my country They all fall on the same days and or very closely

I don't know much about my roots or ancestors, so it'll be an exciting start

Are you Swiss? If so, Heathenry may be something to look into. I have found some fantastic videos about seidr from a Scandinavian lady, I think she’s in Sweden. Stay away from many US based Heathen sources, the nazis are big on it here and make it all about race.

Lemme warn you about walmarts - they all have some weird time loop built in them.... You go in for a few things and next thing you know, it's 3 hours later and your basket is overflowing with "what did I buy?"

That is definitely Target for me.

We have this store called Ocean State Job Lot that has about everything you can imagine from home stuff to clothes to food to pet supplies and even garden and pool supplies, etc. EVERYTHING. And it’s all discounted and all different stuff every time you go in cause they get like the rejects and overstock and stuff from companies and sell it cheaper. It’s AWESOME but sooooo DANGEROUS LOL I spend way too much money and time there. and often go in for one thing and walk out with 30. Walmart is dangerous too. I’m not really a Target fan lol

I spend most of my time studying and researching the effectiveness of plant based treatments I run an apothecary on etsy selling teas and tinctures. My husband calls it my hoodoo lol

That’s so cool. I’ve always loved plant lore and learning about their medicinal uses.

It's how both my religious themed classes explained it. According to them, Islam split from Judaism because of an inheritance dispute. Judaism was with the son who inherited and Islam was with the son who didn't, but I'm not sure just how accurate that is since the book isn't 100% nonfiction.

I hadn’t read that it was inheritance disput, but that they were brothers from the same father and that Muslims and Jews worship the same god. I thought the inheritor was from a Jewish mother and the other was from a mother of a different faith? I can’t remember right now.
