I think my biggest issue is losing my length I've worked so hard to get my hair long. It's never in my whole life been this long lol

Yeah your hair would be like 1/3rd the length if you back combed them into dreads. If you just went free-form they would pretty much stay the same length for a few years lol my wife just spent 4 years growing her hair into free-form dreads and her hair is just now starting to get longer, i think it's because it slowly locks while slowly growing

Only places that do dread extensions around here are deep in the ghetto and I mean ghetto like scary parts around here. I glow so I would not be welcome lol I'm talking street gang violence daily kinda situations and they're over an hour away easy so I'm on my own lol

I love them always have, I don't have anyone local that can install permanent ones for me unfortunately or I would have them done. But I will wear them for 4-6 months at a time then clean and reinstall them. They will last for years if properly cared for. I have strong Nordic roots and this for me makes me feel more connected even tho there are those that quarl over viking/faerie locs Yada Yada my mom calls me a hippie

I think they can be neat looking but some people just don’t take care of them, I hope you enjoy them! I have strong Nordic roots also, but who doesn’t love fairies?!

At 42 I stopped caring what my family thinks course I'm also covering in tattoos with multiple piercings so... my fiance is about as redneck as they come and when he met me I had blue hair apparently opposites attract however I'm just as hillbilly in my roots maybe more. He cringes when I run around the horse barns barefoot

Would you mind sharing the significance of the items? Do you add or remove things based on time of year or how you’re feeling?
