Is this the same woman who said "don't give him any more ideas" ?
So you email Oprah...she is looking for family friendly leading edge programing to fill a whole network. What's more leading edge than growing your own food? Get Oprah to bankroll it. I KNOW it will pay better than the hardware store and since tv taping is only "part time" he can come home and work at the hardware store to keep him out of your hair.
ETA: Pitch it as helping the poor become more self-sufficient when faced with declining government monies for aid programs.
Man, I wish this weather would straighten out. Once again, there is rain in the forecast for Farmer Lew's days off this week. WE ARE ANXIOUS TO GET FINISHED!!! I am sure Linda's chooks would like to have a nice, protective coop before winter is completely over.
Pray for dry days in northern California this Wednesday and Thursday (even though the meterologists predict otherwise).
Right now, there are some inquisitive and/or brave chickens checking out the new coop structure. I have seen the "evidence." I think they've been holding barn dances in there on that open floor space, or perhaps just gathering in small, subversive groups to plot something. I just might have to take some surveillance photos of this activity.
Could you please pray for no snow for the east coast, specifically MY BACK YARD? Over 70 inches of snow so far this year and there is more coming tomorrow. SIGH
It is looking like tomorrow's a go! Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we should be there tomorrow morning around 10 or 11. Kalie's gonna be there with the ladder around that same time. At the very least, we can get the gable ends, roof, and door on. Then we can work on the inside, roosts, nesting boxes, etc. Oh, speaking of the nesting boxes, we'll try to remember to bring those out tomorrow. If we can't get 'em in the car, you can get them Sunday when you come over.
