This chicken looks like she’s drunk or tripping over her feet when she walks and extends one wing. I can see no issues but she doesn’t have a huge appetite. She lays down a lot and even to eat at times. Her poop is bigger and white. We have had her separated for a 6mos and no huge improvement. She’s in a run and can interact w the other birds just chicken wire between to protect her. She’s friendly. Wondering how to help her ? I don’t see any obvious injuries.

What's her diet (main food, treats, etc)? Has she been losing weight? No swelling on the foot pad or joints? Where are you located and any know illness in your flock? The more details you can provide the better. If you can post a picture of the bird and a video of her walking that would be helpful.

If you haven't tried vitamin therapy I'd start with that. One vitamin E pill (400iu), 1/4 B-complex pill, and a little scrambled egg for selenium a day.

She's been like this for 6 months?

What treatments, supplements, extras, medications have you tried in the 6month period?

What do you feed, including treats?

Video of her actions? Upload video to youtube and provide a link.

Any scabs on the bottom of her feet, long overgrown toenails, lice/mites, has she been laying eggs, swelling of the leg joints, etc.?

She looks otherwise healthy. We offer her food scraps along with her layer pellets but she doesn’t eat much of the food scraps. She likes sunflower seeds but her appetite is so so. The others aren’t sick. We had to move her out abt 6 mos ago bc the others were beating up really bad on her and sort of turned on her. Now everyone is happy w the chicken wire in between them. I’ve never tried vitamins for her but I’ll give it a shot. She really has a sweet temperament. Thank you.

She will seem to improve for a bit and then it happens again and she gets clumbsy. We’ve tried apple cider vinegar in her water. I’ve checked for injuries and there’s nothing visible. So I’ve been thinking it’s neurological. Then today I saw that she laid down to eat her seed which is unusual. Food is layer pellets , scraps (doesn’t eat much ) scratch / cracked corn (doesn’t eat much) treats are sunflower seed. She does have a flat beak that is not pointed and longer spurs like a rooster and she’s a little bigger than my other chickens. I thought at first she could be a roo but she lays eggs. I did notice today her nails seemed longer than my other chickens. She’s still laying.

How long should it take for vitamins to show improvement ?

Forgot to mention the other chickens eat an identical diet to hers and are perfectly healthy. Will try to post a video today.

I'd give it about a week. For long term vitamin supplements if you think your flock might benefit you can look into rooster booster pellets or a supplement added to their water.

Her nails are getting long because she is not scratching the ground as much as normal. You can trim them back a little to keep them in good shape, just be careful not to cut too far back or you'll cut the quick and it will bleed. (I usually have cornstarch on hand and help the blood clot just in case.) Also if her spurs are really long or angled it might be contributing to her troubles walking.

Hello! Vitamin E and b complex along with calcium citrate. I would stop all treats, give her raw yolk, moistened pellets, grubs or mealworms, sunflower seeds as well. Is her crop emptying overnight? How does she feel in your hands as compared to your healthy ones?

Thank you for all the information.
