I have a 5year old Polish Bantam Hen.
She lays daily, except during Moult.
She began moulting a week ago, all was normal, but this morning she is extremely wobbly on her legs.
She is eating /drinking normally & pooping normal too. I only have 2 chooks at the moment, her and a ISA brown.
She is alert and tries to run, but just looks drunk and then has to sit down.
I've isolated her as we also have 4 resident brushturkeys.... My first thought was injury from the male turkey, but usually if he attacks (Mates) my girls he rips at their head, and I couldn't find any external injuries.
side note: the weather here is 30deg+ (86degF),
I've been reading every ones posts regarding wobbly chooks, (From simple Moult, Fungal or bacterial infections, Mareks & tumours) so thought that if nothing else, this can act as a good document for others searching in future for answers.... what ever they will be.
I've given her vitamins, electrolytes and antibiotics, to hopefully pick her up, and need to get more worming but most places closed here on weekends, so can't grab any till monday. She was so excited when she got her own box with food and water close by LOL - she's such a little character.
Happy for any advise!
