Wobbly 'drunk' Crested Duck

I have a 9-year-old crested duck who has had 2 'attacks' in 3 weeks where she has completely lost all balance, wobbling all over the place, not being able to walk two steps without falling down. She gets quite panicky and at one point last night stopped being able to hold her neck up. Both times after being left in her house overnight, she has woken up and is acting like nothing ever happened, as good as new.
My parents are refusing to take her to the vets because the nearest one that will take a duck is two hours away and very expensive, and as shes 9 she probably doesn't have long left.
I'm aware that crested ducks are prone to neurological issues, so could this be one?
Is there anything I can do to help her, or will we have to accept that she's going to be like this occasionally from now on?

That is very hard to determine since you duck is 9 yrs old is this the first time she has had seizures?
Does she live with other ducks? Drakes? what are you feeding her and do you give supplements? Crested ducks can and do have Neurological issues but for her to be 9 and never had anything till now Just hard to say what, maybe something else is triggering the seizures.

Hi, she has only had episodes like this last night and 3 weeks ago, nothing before in her life. Unfortunately, we lost the ducks she lived with about 4 years ago, now she only lives with 3 hens that, as far as I see, treat her like a god. We feed her mixed corn and she has access to 7 acres of land.

I can't see it happening, she lives with 3 hens that have been basically raised by her, and she seems to really be top of the pecking order and respected by all of them

I think a change of diet might be in order. Mixed corn I am not sure what that means can you explain? do you give her a feed along with it?

I can't quite explain it, its a complete feed for laying birds. Heres a link to the feed i buy:

we also feed her a range of veggies, sweetcorn, peas, oats ect.

The site says complete feed, but the bag states complementary? Looks like scratch to me.
You would want to feed your poultry something like this instead
