Woke up a Senior and don't know what to do

Well, Happy Bday!!!!

I did but this started a few years ago and I just think about it more. I could cry. I don't know how to not think about age, things I can't physically do anymore, the future. How do I focus on the positive when the negative hits me in the mirror in the morning and does not get any better during the day.

Then my DD tells me I shouldn't be driving anymore (are you kidding?), I can't walk as fast, I can't keep a straight posture, and I'M FRIGGEN LOSING MY HAIR!!!!

I like to say that I can still do everything that I once could. It just takes longer and generally hurts more. My shoulders are shot, but I can still run - that's something. My biggest problem with the aging process is that so many of my friends have died.

Well Bill, My birthday was great with all my Facebook friends wishing me happy. And my other wish was to go to Applebees for dinner. I don't ask for much and I think highly of Applebees. But no one here thinks much of Applebees and they think I must be joking.

We really like Applebees , but our local shut down during the pandemic. 'Fancy Like' - love Walker Hayes.

OMG!!! I am so not liking that age has sort of led to your friends dying. I am really awed by your attitude about the whole thing.

I have never been to Applebees. However, if I was closer to you I would be more than happy to take you to Applebees to eat and to celebrate another year of life for you.

Applebees has always felt homey to me. It's actually been in my life for 20+ years. I have always been happy to go there. Sourland, there are so many that you may be able to find another one. My DD doesn't like it, so maybe I should just not ask her to go!

My mom when she was still living always wanted to go to Ryan's for her bday. That was certainly not much to ask for. My Dad would go wherever you wanted to go. He mostly just wanted to have his family around him. Which, my Mom did as well.

The closest is about 45 minutes away. Our local did a great business with excellent service. I have no idea why they closed. Once things opened up here business rebounded, and then they closed. We ran into the old manager, and she had no idea why the local had closed.
