Woke up a Senior and don't know what to do

Applebees has always felt homey to me. It's actually been in my life for 20+ years. I have always been happy to go there. Sourland, there are so many that you may be able to find another one. My DD doesn't like it, so maybe I should just not ask her to go!
I think that being a senior (I don't know the definition but I am sure I am one!) means you get to do what you want without apologizing to anyone.
If you want to go to Applebees you should go! Is there anyone else who could go with you? Maybe someone from your church or a neighbor. It could be a fun evening out.

I have never been to Applebees. However, if I was closer to you I would be more than happy to take you to Applebees to eat and to celebrate another year of life for you.

Bill , Applebees is not an ultra fantastic place. It is just like sort of a neighborhood bar with a large menu of some really good food. So far I have had really good waitstaff.

I guess that brings up that my daughter is always taking me to lunch at those ultra modern places with the "modern" entrees, and laughs at me for liking the tried and true in my life. Yes I still prefer the places that I've gone to for the last 30 years. I don't need any "fusion", LOL

I did but this started a few years ago and I just think about it more. I could cry. I don't know how to not think about age, things I can't physically do anymore, the future. How do I focus on the positive when the negative hits me in the mirror in the morning and does not get any better during the day.

Then my DD tells me I shouldn't be driving anymore (are you kidding?), I can't walk as fast, I can't keep a straight posture, and I'M FRIGGEN LOSING MY HAIR!!!!
I am losing mine too, and my health keeps getting worse. Goes down fast after 60.

A good daughter should..mother's are irreplaceable...she should slap a smile on and go.

I started having random pains all over my body. For no reason i could figure out. Figured it was likely fibromyalgia. Really freaked me out. I can handle a lot of intense pain, if i know it will end. But the prospect of constant pain, although less severe, made me wonder if it was any good to keep living in constant pain.
I decided to try and ignore the pain and just keep doing my usual activities. I feel much better mentally, just squashing the pain by keeping busy.

It does sound like a nerve issue..you should have this checked out. I've had burning feet for several years. My feet burn pretty intensely and hurt..then they swell and turn red. I figured it was some sorta nerve thing too.
