Wolf Branch Homestead's Project 365

Hi everyone, and welcome to our BYC Project 365 thread, where we will attempt to document some of each day's happenings through photos here at Wolf Branch Homestead. Based in Alabama, my husband and I have worked alongside eachother since 2014 on this beautiful land. We enjoy sharing videos of the wildlife, crafting, raising and training our animal friends, among many other projects. My goal is to document a little bit of everything, not just with the flock, but daily life. This journal will be a great way to remember this year. We are getting a late start, but will attempt to carry out every single day for 365 days. Thank you for joining us!​

Day #1:
In the last hours of the day, we sit listening to James Spann our state’s wonderful weatherman with live coverage of a storm system moving into and through the state. For years we have trusted his wisdom on these storms and will be listening intently through the evening. Almost the same time last year, we stayed awake during a particularly horrible storm system moving through where he was live for hours warning and watching. We were alert and prepared and fortunate. One can hope all will be safe tonight. Here’s to safety of the people, the animals, the homes, the livelihoods. No major damage or power outages.
