Thorn looked up when he heard a loud ,sickening *crack* overhead and he looked up to see a flaming tree falling over,threatening to crash down on them"Move!"Thorn shouted and moved behind Raven,quickly shoving her into the tunnel.
Nira started whimpering softly,she knew her pups were coming.
Jaman stayed where he was. He wondered what it would be like to be a father.
Nira rolled onto her side and waited.After thirty minutes or so four ,tiny pups were at her side.She was exhausted but managed to call out for Jaman.
Jaman ran to her. He looked at the pups. He nuzzled Nira, happily.
Thorn yelped in fear as the ground collapsed from beneath him and his paws scrambled desperately for a grip.He looked up in horror as the tree came crashing down towards him.He looked down at the raging water then back at Raven,giving her a loving look"Stay safe. "He whispered, even though he knew she probably couldn't hear him from loud noises around.He let go of the ledge and fell into the water,the tree falling in after him.
Nira smiled weakly then rested her head on the ground."They're beautiful aren't they?"She murmured, glancing at their pups.
Jaman smiled and nodded. He sat down, thinking.
