Luna snapped a bark at Kapu. She put a paw over Challenger protectively.

Challenger whined to his mother.

Kapu bounded over to his mom. He had found a strip of hide. He held it in his mouth and spanked the ground with his paws. It was clear that he wanted to play.

Phantom was on the patrol. He marked the border,but squated. Only leaders can lift thier legs to scent mark.

Kapu didn't scent any danger,however he ran behind his mother. In a few secondss he was distracted by a butterfly.He ran after it.

Challenger,however,did not.

Snowfur led the patrol back to camp. As soon as they returned a hunting patrol went out.

Icestorm came back to camp. She dropped her rabbiton the prey pile and went to visit her sister. (Hailstorm)

Kapu growled and so did Challenger,until Challenger saw Luna curled up and decided to play a wolf joke. He signaled to Kapu and they crept up beehind her,then both pounced on thier inocent mother!

(I just finished a good book called "Julie's Wolf Pack" by Jean Craighead George. It is very good and is a thrid book in a continueing story. It focuses on the lives of the wolves and is very realistic. I think all you Rpers should try and read some. It is very good.)
