You might want to do a little research. The military has actually raised entrance requirements over what they used to be.The enlistees have to be smarter than they used to and the physical requirements have been raised vs lowered. Another big difference these days is that everyone that enlist has a very good chance of seeing action. Regardless of what the recruiter says. They always have a secondary MOS and you WILL go where they need you. Yep all sorts of people are getting equal rights these days.

Right now women aren't allowed in actual combat roles so they are allowed to have an easier PT test. If they allow them into combat they will have to be able to hump 120 lbs of crap just like everyone else in combat arms. I'm sure that by the time they discharge they'll be able to cut down trees with all those mens men up in the great Northwest.

Be all that you can be.

now that women are finding more equal opportunities (Though we don't have full equality yet.)
women are now surpassing men in the educational aspect, girls get better grades, excel in school, and have proven that in certain areas of the mind, women surpass men on average in studies (as usual there are always exceptions, there is no clear cut gender line in behavior and skill)

in the past when it was assumed men were better at math then women, girls now pass boys in math scores and comprehension.

in the military, utilizing this means many women are excellent in tactics, engineering, and sciences needed in advanced warfare.

As I stated earlier, the point of physical fitness testing is to ensure every military member is physically fit. If a woman passes the physical fitness test she is considered physically fit. That's all. Military physical fitness standards do not ensure that a person can physically do every task in every MOS or that a woman can "hump 120 lbs of crap". If that is the job she wants and she can't do it, then she'll be be getting another MOS in short order.

I disagree. The Army has stated that they are changing physical fitness requirements to more closely match MOS requirements. When I was in back in 82 the Army started a new fat man program to address the issue of soldiers that were overweight and didn't look like they were capable of being soldiers. At the same time the Air Force announced that they were raising their physical requirements. Members would be required to perform PT on their own time and the annual PT test would require them to run 1 mile or walk 2 miles. We in the Army found that rather amusing. We ran at least 4 miles every duty day with about 30 minutes of calisthenics. Even administrative units had to run 2 miles a day and pass the standard PT test every 6 months.

Imagine for a minute, if our hypothetical enemy, had an entire army of women and attacked the US. How the heck would we stop them? Spiders? Do you see what I'm getting at? If a man were to attack me, I'd be quick to defend myself, but a women, I'd run and hide and maybe I could find a spider or two and hope she wasn't that one in 20 women who isn't afraid of spiders.

Equal rights whether they want them or not except maybe equal employment opportunity if you are right. Maybe in the near future you will need a college degree to join the military.

I would hire any woman that could pull her weight in logging as they usually are more dependable at showing up for work.

I would only worry about an all woman army for about one week out of the month the rest of the time you could probably talk them out of shooting you.
