I like to see birds around my yard, big and plenty of cover with woods behind on 2 sides. Would raising a few Cortnx quail stay around... kinda semi wild maybe come to eat etc.. or would they leave, or would they not make it at all. ? Thanks

Your Wanting Colorful Lil Birds That Can Free Range In Your Yard Right? Gamebirds Are Not Free Rangers (at Least Ways Not More Than Once...) I'd Suggest Looking At A Tiny Bantam Chicken Like Serama Or Some Of The Old English Breeds--- They Are Often Colorful, Small, And Free Range Well. + You Get Breakfast Outta The Deal!

No actually I am looking for birds that hang in brush and weeds around the pond. I have dogs and they like to hunt. I dont actually hunt and kill things anymore but they love to flush... plus I wouldnt mind if they showed up grazing on the grass or come back to the feed.. I already have a few Gunieas ans a chicken running around but the dogs know there not something to find... There Kinda like friends and one quick chase and there done and all hanging out together... so thats why I thought they may be fun to have around. anyway... just a thought
