ok so we got these at a farm swap... they told us that at home they have rhode island reds.. roosters and hens... and they have a black breasted phoenix rooster as well... so what we wanna know is... did we get any pure RIR chicks? or are they all crosses?? also... did we happen to get a rhode island white by chance???

No Rhode Island White, it is a separate breed and not a color variety of the RIR. (thanks Chris09

They do look to be feathering in like my RIR did, so I'd say they are RIR's. The white one I'm betting is a male red sex link. (they feather in white)
 
I see a lot of black in the wing that shouldn't be there so I would say that they are out of the Black Breasted Phoenix rooster and a Rhode Island Red hen.
I would say if the White chick is indeed there sibling that the Black Breasted Phoenix may have had some White Phoenix in its back ground..

As new2chooks said the Rhode Island White is a separate breed from the Rhode Island Red....
