Hello,

Millie's limp has now turned into a whole body problem!
She's a 22 week Sapphire Gem.
She doesn't have bumblefoot, nor scars, growths, or uninvited buddies on her.
We had her "locked up" thinking she had a bruised foot or leg. Yesterday we let her out for 3 hours to see how she was doing - she was limping very little! Today, again, let her out for a few hours, but, then she just hunkered down and when we went to pick her up, she was like a d*ad weight! She was alert, good color, but didn't protest when we put her in the carrier. She was eating & drinking.

I plan to start Vitamin B & Calcium tomorrow - and I've read about electrolytes (although I have no idea how to get those into her) - and, yes, we had a horrible heat wave and now smoke from Canadian wildfires - but i just don't know what's going on! But none of the other girls are affected.

Should I worry??

I'd try the vitamin B Complex and Calcium to see if that helps.
Gave her 1/4 of a B-Complex and a Calcium supplement last night. Also gave her homemade electrolyte water (which she tipped over 🤦‍♀️)

I know i can give her more B today and we are getting her a water bottle. What about the Calcium - we are starting oyster shells for all today - do we give her supplements still?

I'd put the 1/4tablet B-Complex right into the beak and let her swallow, same as the Extra Calcium.

Electrolytes are fine to give, but provide fresh water too.
We've been putting the B & Calcium in her food as we can't get her to keep beak open (hubby's fingers can't take much more). We'll also figure out how to provide water that she won't dump the container!

Thank you!
