Woo-Hoo! Now a brown egg!

I've had two EE'rs laying for a couple of weeks, and now finally one of my brown egg layers have started at 21 weeks. It is a light brown slightly triangle egg from, I'm hoping, one of my Jersey Giants or the Buff Orp.

The egg isn't dark enough to be a Marans or Welsummer.

*plugging my ears to everyone saying they are hatchery chicks and they may NOT lay dark eggs...*

Woohoo for you. And I won't say anything about the dark eggs b/c I'm waiting for my hatchery marans to start laying too
